Abstract

Providing education to patients is greatly influenced by the quality of services provided by PPAs, but not all PPAs are compliant in providing health care, and have a good attitude towards patients. This educatin is carried out to support the return of health fuctions before and optimal health maintenance. This research was conducted at the Nutrition installation of RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City by using a Quantitative approach and the type is descriptive research. The data collection method is carried out by distributing questionnaires containing criteria to be analysed including predisposing factors, probable factors, and families. The research subjects were all staff of the Nutrition Installation of RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City. The results of the study csn be concluded that Professional Giving Care (PPA) Nutrition has compliance in providing education to patients and families at RSUD Prof Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City, this is shown by (score > 50%) measurement results of each compliance criterion. There are 3 factors that affect the compliance of Professional Giving Care (PPA) nutrition in providing education to patients and families including predisposing factors (knowledge, and attitudes), enabling factors (facilities/infrastructure, work environment, and socialization), and reinforcing factors (management roles and policies). From three factors, knowledge, and attitude are the elements that most influence the level of compliance.

Abstract

Effective health services do not only depend on the quality of health facilities, but also public awareness of actively seeking health information and treatment. The health service website is one of the innovations that has an influence on increasing public awareness and compliance in treatment. This Community Service aims to educate the public on the importance of using health service websites and their influence on awareness and compliance in treatment. This service activity was carried out in Talumelito Village, Gorontalo Regency. The method used is education and interactive discussions designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the use of health service websites. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in public knowledge about health information and was more encouraged to use health services regularly.

Abstract

Optimizing the hospital website is a strategic step in improving the quality of health of the village community through easily accessible education. This community service aims to provide information related to the benefits of the hospital website as a means of health education. This service activity was carried out in Tulabulo village, East Suwawa District, Gorontalo Regency. The method used is education and interactive discussions designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the importance of the hospital website as a means of health education. The results of the activity showed an increase in public knowledge about the use of the hospital website. This activity also identified the main obstacles of the community in the limitations of digital literacy and the lack of informative content relevant to the needs of the village community.

Abstract

The development of information technology is increasingly rapid and reaches various aspects of life, including in the health sector. The application of information technology in hospitals provides benefits in improving the efficiency and quality of health services, one of which is through an online registration system. This community service aims to provide information related to the online registration system that makes it easier for the public to access health services at hospitals. This service activity was carried out in East Pentadio village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency. The method used is education and interactive discussions designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the online registration system to improve time efficiency and patient satisfaction. The results of the activity showed an increase in public understanding of the online registration system. This activity also identifies the main obstacles of society in the limitations of infrastructure and digital literacy and practical solutions to overcome them.

Abstract

Professional Care Providers (PPA) as an interdisciplinary team play a role in maximizing the implementation of patient-focused services, one of which is through providing education. Education is carried out to help patients and their families better understand the health problems they are facing. PPAmust comply with professional norms and ethics in providing education to patients and their families. This research aims to analyze the influencing factorsPPA Nutrition compliance in providing education to patients and families at RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City using descriptive research typequantitative approach. The data collection method was carried out through distributing questionnaires to Nutrition Care Professionals (PPA) at RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City. The research results showed that predisposing factors (knowledge and attitudes), enabling factors (infrastructure, work environment and socialization), and reinforcing factors (role of management and policy) obtained measurement results (score > 50%). Of these three factors, the predisposing factor is the factor that most influences the level of PPA Gizi compliance in providing education to patients and families at RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City.
