Abstract

The availability of sufficient feed is very important for the success of fish farming. However, fish feeding by farmers is currently still conventional, often irregular and excessive due to human error. To increase production efficiency and yield, automatic feeding technology is needed. One solution is an Automatic Fish Feeder based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which integrates hardware, sensors and software as control. This research aims to provide the optimal amount of feed based on temperature using fuzzy logic. In this study, Fuzzy Logic was designed with the help of Matlab software, which will then be used as a basis for determining the output value of the automatic fish feeding system after implementing Fuzzy Logic. There is a Fuzzy Logic design in Matlab with the Mamdani method which has 1 input variable and 1 output variable. The input variable is the temperature parameter and the output variable is the quantity of fish feed. By applying Fuzzy Logic in determining the quantity of fish feed on automatic feeders, it is hoped that it can help fish farmers who use automatic fish feeders in determining the right amount of feed.

Abstract

Diseases in black tiger shrimp are crucial to monitor for their survival and productivity in aquaculture. Rapid detection through clinical symptoms, though not 100% accurate, is vital for prompt action. This study aims to diagnose diseases in black tiger shrimp using computer-based artificial intelligence based on observational input. A qualitative data analysis method is employed, with variables including clinical symptoms, eye damage, and body color change. Results show that body damage is the most influential factor in disease type. Although fuzzy logic is not 100% accurate, it is essential and beneficial for shrimp farmers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kelayakan kualitas air di kolam lele untuk mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan ikan lele. Air merupakan acuan parameter yang perlu diperhatikan untuk keberlangsungan pertumbuhan ikan lele, dengan kondisi air pada kolam yang kurang optimal dapat menyebabkan lambatnya pertumbuhan dan dapat mengancam kegagalan panen. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode fuzzy logic untuk mengukur parameter kualitas air pada kolam ikan lele berdasarkan pH, suhu dan amonia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 30 April - 14 Mei 2024 di Hatchery Perikanan, Sekolah Vokasi IPB Sukabumi di Jalan Sarasa No. 45 Kecamatan Cibeureum, Kota Sukabumi, Jawa Barat. Data didapatkan dari pengumpulan data dan analisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kualitas air dalam bak 9 memiliki kategori tidak layak dengan nilai 25% sedangkan untuk bak lainnya masih dalam kategori cukup layak dengan nilai 50-60%. Hal ini dapat menjadi acuan untuk mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan dengan cara monitoring serta penanganan yang baik terhadap kualitas air.
