Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether or not there is an impact of health education on increasing public knowledge about hypertension and posbindu in Tambakharjo Village, West Semarang District, Semarang City. The research results showed that there was a change in respondents' knowledge for good knowledge levels from an average of 66.66 (pretest) to 85.33 (posttest). Based on the t test, the sig value is obtained. 2 tailed is 0.000 (< 0.05). This means that health education actions have an effect on increasing respondents' knowledge about hypertension and posbindu. The conclusion of this research is that health education activities about hypertension and posbindu have a significant impact on increasing public knowledge in Tambakharjo Village, Semarang City.

Abstract

Pornography, as erotic content, can stimulate sensual desire and is accessible through various mediums, including viewing, reading, listening, and watching. Teenagers are particularly vulnerable to the dangers of digital pornography. This study aims to examine the influence of attitudes and subjective norms on students' intentions to consume online pornography in Semarang City. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 1,319 student participants from various educational levels. The data were analyzed using ordinal logistic regression. The results indicate that both independent variables significantly impact the dependent variable. Student attitudes exert the most substantial influence, with an Odds Ratio of 4.32, while subjective norms have an Odds Ratio of 2.13. The study concludes that attitudes and subjective norms together significantly affect the intention to consume online pornography.

Abstract

Background: Non-communicable diseases are encountered quite often in productive age. Early detection efforts through Posbindu-PTM must be optimized, considering many people still need to gain awareness. What factors play a role in POSBINDU PTM visits in the Tambakharjo is unknown.Method: This research is an observational study with a cross-sectional approach. Systematic sampling was used for 158 people from Tambakharjo aged ≥15 years. Sociodemographic data, history of non-communicable diseases, hypertension knowledge, and POSBINDU PTM visits were collected by interview during November 2023.Result: The research results showed that 22.2% of respondents visited Posbindu-PTM. The multiple logistic regression test showed that the factors that contributed to 99% of POSBINDU PTM visits in Tambakharjo District were ownership of medical equipment (OR=0.332; 95%CI. 0.130-0.845), lack of knowledge about hypertension (OR= 2.300; 95%CI. 0.948-5.579), age ≤45 years (OR=2.53; 95%CI. 1.087-5.393), male gender (OR=6.042; 95%CI=1.677-21.778). The results of this study only describe individual factors. Further studies on psychological factors and the social environment are necessary.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan tindakan yang menyakitkan seseorang bahkan sekelompok orang. Tindakan bullying tidak hanya dalam bentuk fisik namun bisa berupa verbal dan psikologi, sehingga korbannya merasa tertekan bahkan trauma. Masa remaja merupakan masa dimana mencari jati dirinya dan kadang masa ini sering disalah artikan karena pergaulan lingkungan yang mampu mempengaruhi tindakannya. Remaja yang menjadi korban dari perundungan temannya lebih beresiko mengalami berbagai masalah kesehatan bahkan sampai melakukan tindakan bunuh diri. Masalah kesehatan yang sering dialami korban bullying dapat berupa depresi berlebihan, masalah tidur, mudah gelisah, atau keluhan fisik seperti lebih sering sakit kepala, sakit perut dan otot tegang. Sedangkan pada lingkungan sekitarnya mereka akan lebih menarik diri dikarenakan muncul rasa tidak aman, yang mengakibatkan penurunan prestasi akademiknya. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi terkait bullying dan dampaknya serta upaya pencegahan beserta sanksinya sebagai upaya penurunan kasus bullying. Metode edukasi yang kami lakukan yaitu melalui sosialisasi ke sekolah SMA N 1 Donorojo Jepara. Sasaran program adalah siswa kelas X (Sepuluh). Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu siswa paham bentuk – bentuk dalam perundungan, upaya pencegahannya, hingga mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupannya sehari – hari dan bisa menjadi contoh yang baik untuk lingkungan sekitarnya dengan didampingi guru – guru di SMA N 1 Donorojo Jepara.
