Abstract

Background: The Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service reported that there were 227 cases of Violence Against Women and Children in Semarang City in 2023, with the most victims being women at 216 people. The highest number of cases of violence occurred at the high school level, with 83 victims. The high number of cases of violence in dating requires prevention efforts. This study aims to design a health education model to address dating violence among high school students in Semarang City.Method: The type of research used is research and development. The P-Process theory is used as material for developing health promotion media. Qualitative and quantitative data sources were obtained in the research and development process. The stages of the research are situation analysis, which is conducted by quantitative research on 118 high school students in Semarang City, and purposive sampling techniques. Quantitative research with focus group discussion was conducted on 10 male and 10 female high school students, and in-depth interviews were conducted with 3 counseling teachers. Quantitative data analysis with the chi-square test, qualitative analysis with thematic content analysis.Result: The average age of respondents was 16 years, with the majority being female. The violence experienced by men was physical violence, while for women, it was psychological and sexual violence. There was a significant relationship between efficacy and self-efficacy responses to overcome violence in dating. For media development, most respondents preferred audiovisual media in the form of films with facilitators being peer educators; the maximum education time was 30 minutes, with materials covering adolescent development, how to overcome violence in dating, healthy dating, and the flow of complaints of violence in dating.

Abstract

Background: More than 10% of adults in Indonesia experience mental and emotional disorders. Previous research has concluded that mental health is related to a person's physical literacy. Objectives: This study explores the relationship between physical literacy and mental health among adults in Semarang City, Indonesia, emphasizing the mediating role of various physical literacy domains. Methods: This observational study used a cross-sectional design with 610 participants chosen by stratified selection. Physical literacy and mental health were evaluated using the Perceived Physical Literacy Questionnaire (PPLQ) and the Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20), respectively. All data acquired during interviews with trained enumerators were then processed using Stata. The data was then evaluated with the Spearman Rank test. Results: The study included more women than men. They were largely high school and college students who weren't yet married. The respondents' physical literacy remained moderate, while their mental health remained good/free of unhealthy mental issues. Bivariate analysis revealed that higher levels of physical literacy were linked to better mental health outcomes, particularly in the categories of physical ability, knowledge, and motivation. Age and education levels also have a substantial impact on mental health. Conclusions: Physical literacy has a substantial impact on mental health among adults in Semarang City.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan tindakan yang menyakitkan seseorang bahkan sekelompok orang. Tindakan bullying tidak hanya dalam bentuk fisik namun bisa berupa verbal dan psikologi, sehingga korbannya merasa tertekan bahkan trauma. Masa remaja merupakan masa dimana mencari jati dirinya dan kadang masa ini sering disalah artikan karena pergaulan lingkungan yang mampu mempengaruhi tindakannya. Remaja yang menjadi korban dari perundungan temannya lebih beresiko mengalami berbagai masalah kesehatan bahkan sampai melakukan tindakan bunuh diri. Masalah kesehatan yang sering dialami korban bullying dapat berupa depresi berlebihan, masalah tidur, mudah gelisah, atau keluhan fisik seperti lebih sering sakit kepala, sakit perut dan otot tegang. Sedangkan pada lingkungan sekitarnya mereka akan lebih menarik diri dikarenakan muncul rasa tidak aman, yang mengakibatkan penurunan prestasi akademiknya. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi terkait bullying dan dampaknya serta upaya pencegahan beserta sanksinya sebagai upaya penurunan kasus bullying. Metode edukasi yang kami lakukan yaitu melalui sosialisasi ke sekolah SMA N 1 Donorojo Jepara. Sasaran program adalah siswa kelas X (Sepuluh). Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu siswa paham bentuk – bentuk dalam perundungan, upaya pencegahannya, hingga mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupannya sehari – hari dan bisa menjadi contoh yang baik untuk lingkungan sekitarnya dengan didampingi guru – guru di SMA N 1 Donorojo Jepara.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Sedentary lifestyle merupakan suatu perilaku seseorang yang secara sadar tidak banyak melakukan gerakan dalam waktu yang lama, hanya mengeluarkan sekitar 1,5Mets kalori dalam aktivitas kesehariannya. Perilaku sedentary pada remaja sangat mengkhawatirkan karena dapat menimbulkan beberapa macam penyakit pada metabolic tubuhnya seperti obesitas. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja terkait sedentary lifestyle dan bahaya yang mengancam didalamnya. Metode: Perencanaan terkait lokasi, proses pendekatan kepada sasaran, pelaksanaan kegiatan edukasi sedentary lifestyle, diskusi, dan evaluasi level perilaku sedentary pada remaja dengan kuesioner. Hasil: Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku sedentary pada remaja yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan remaja terkait aktivitas sedentary dan risikonya, 85,65% tergolong dalam level tinggi perilaku sedentary dimana durasi mereka bermalas-malasan diatas 5 jam dalam sehari. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa terkait perilaku sedentary dengan dibuktikan siswa dan guru mulai melakukan senam bersama dan melakukan ice breaking disela-sela pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue dapat disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan dan sikap dalam melakukan perilaku pencegahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap dengan perilaku pencegahan DBD. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara menggunakan kuesioner kepada 30 responden yang merupakan pasien DBD dari 5 kelurahan yang ada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rowosari Kota Semarang yang berasal dari Rowosari, Meteseh, Bulusan, Kramas dan Tembalang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode simple random sampling. Analisis hubungan dilakukan dengan uji chi square dengan p value < 0,05. Jumlah responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baik dengan perilaku baik mengenai pencegahan DBD sebanyak 10 orang (66,7%) dan responden yang memiliki sikap positif dengan perilaku baik mengenai pencegahan DBD ada 9 orang (60%). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan (p value=0,461; OR=2,286). Tidak ada hubungan antara sikap dan perilaku pencegahan (p value=1,000; OR=1,313). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap dengan perilaku pencegahan DBD. Diperlukan adanya kerjasama lintas sector dan lintas program untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran warga mengenai perilaku pencegahan DBD.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kader posyandu Integrasi Layanan Primer (ILP) dalam melakukan skrining PTM pada kelompok usia produktif dan lanjut usia. Metode kegiatan mencakup perekrutan kader, pelatihan partisipatif, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Dari 29 pendaftar, 21 kader mengikuti pelatihan secara aktif dan menyerahkan lembar komitmen sebagai bentuk kesiapan untuk terlibat berkelanjutan. Pelatihan mencakup penyampaian materi dan praktik lima meja posbindu menggunakan metode ceramah interaktif dan simulasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 16,76 menjadi 19,35, yang mencerminkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan kader. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pelatihan berbasis praktik efektif dalam membekali kader dengan keterampilan teknis skrining PTM, serta memotivasi mereka untuk berkontribusi aktif di komunitas.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is an activity of procrastinating work that students do when they get their main assignment, namely studying. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out whether there is an influence and relationship related to stress and local control on students who take part in student organization activities at the Faculty of Health, Dian Nuswantoro University through academic achievement index scores and questionnaires, especially students who are in the core organizational structure. This research will be carried out at 6 student organizations at the Faculty of Health, Dian Nuswantoro University in October 2023 – January 2024 (Suhandianto and Pratitis Nindia, 2020). Using survey methods with a quantitative correlational approach.(Siska Martiana et al., 2022)The results of the multiple regression analysis together show that there is an influence between the independent variables stress (X1) and Locus of Control (X2) on the dependent variable academic procrastination (Y) of 0.093, which means that there is an influence between the two independent variables on the dependent variable of 09.3 % and the remaining 90.7% is influenced by other variables not studied at this time. The results of the second hypothesis research test, namely the independent variables Stress (X1) and Locus of control (X2), which were tested simultaneously, have an influence on the Academic Procrastination variable (Y) which can be seen from the T and F tests. Where are the results of the T and F tests? The comparison value is obtained as Fcount equal to 2.971 < Ftable 3.156, then together with the stress variable (X1) we get a value of tcount 2,345 > Ttable 1.672 and the variable locus of control (X2) obtained a value of tcount 0,171 < ttable 1,672. In conclusion, there is a very significant influence between stress and student academic procrastination and there is an insignificant influence between locus of control and academic procrastination. This means that if the locus of control results are low, students are classified as having an internal locus of control which has little influence on the occurrence of academic procrastination.
