Abstract

Menopause is a process of transition from a productive period heading slowly to the non-productive time due to reduced estrogen and progesterone. There are many factors associated with menopause. Factors contraceptives may affect the occurrence of menopause, which in women who use hormonal contraseption to have compromised menopause compared to those using a non-hormonal contraception. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hormonal contraception and menopause. The research method uses a Systematic Literature Review. The independent variable is hormonal contraception. The dependent variable is Menopause Age. The population is all research journals with the topic of the relationship between hormonal contraception and age menopause. The sample is a journal of research results of the relationship between hormonal contraception and age menopause. Sample inclusion criteria in this study include: 1). Subjects of the study were postmenopausal women, 2). The type of research is case control and cross sectional 4). National and international journals of the10 years last. The results of the study found that hormonal contraception was associated with age at menopause. Suggestions for women postmenopausal to have a healthy lifestyle and have regular the health check posyandu or to health care facilities. Keywords: contraception, hormonal, menopause

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis di Indonesia yang menjadi prioritas untuk diselesaikan. Tahun 2022 prevalensi stunting di Ciamis sebesar 3,4% dan di Puskesmas Cipaku sebesar 1,2%. Stunting pada balita dapat terjadi karena pemberian makan yang tidak tepat pada anak, sehingga pemerintah mendorong program Pemberian Makan Bayi dan Anak (PMBA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media booklet terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu balita tentang pemberian makanan bayi dan anak (PMBA) di posyandu teratai mekar Desa Selacai Kecamatan Cipaku Kabupaten Ciamis tahun 2023. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental, pre post one group test. Populasi yaitu ibu balita yang ada di wilayah posyandu Teratai Mekar berjumlah 58 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner, serta booklet PMBA. Analisis data secara univariat dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan masing-masing variabel yang diteliti, sedangkan analisis bivariat menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon. Hasil Penelitian : rata-rata skor pengetahuan ibu sebelum mendapatkan edukasi sebesar  2,21 dan sesudah edukasi 5, rata-rata skor sikap ibu sebelum mendapatkan edukasi sebesar  4,33 dan sesudah edukasi sebesar 6. Nilai signifikansi untuk kedua variable adalah 0,000. Terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan edukasi menggunakan media booklet. Saran: keluarga balita hendaknya meningkatan pengetahuan tentang PMBA dengan cara mengakses informasi salah satunya media booklet tentang PMBA yang disediakan di fasilitas kesehatan. Puskesmas Cipaku dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan media booklet dalam melakukan edukasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat, dan bagi peneliti lain dapat melakukan penelitian untuk melihat efektivitas media edukasi lain dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat.

Abstract

Anemia is a significant health problem in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 57.7% among adolescents in the Singaparna Health Center area. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between nutritional knowledge, nutritional status, and adherence to the consumption of Blood Added Tablets (TTD) with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls at SMK Al-Ishlah in 2023. Quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach involved 47 adolescent girls as a sample. Data analysis using SPSS showed that there was no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge (p = 0.654), nutritional status (p = 0.442), and TTD consumption compliance (p = 1,000) with the incidence of anemia. Research recommendations include cooperation between schools and health services to improve adolescent nutrition, monitoring of anemia prevention, nutrition education policies in schools, nutrition campaign programs, educational activities, and developing effective strategies. This study contributes to the development of public health science related to nutrition and anemia.

Abstract

Preliminary studies at the Indihiang Health Center show an increase in stunting in the Indihiang sub-district. This study aims to describe the factors causing stunting in toddlers in Kp Parakanhonje Sukamaju Kaler, Indihiang District, Tasikmalaya City in 2023. The Quantitative Descriptive research method was conducted on 16 stunted toddlers with questionnaires as instruments. The results of data analysis showed that the majority of respondents graduated from high school (43.8%), had economic status < Rp2,533,341 (87.5%), did not receive exclusive breastfeeding (50%), had ARI disease (25%), did CPTS regularly (62.5%), incomplete immunization (25%), poor parenting (81.3%), and sufficient maternal knowledge (68.8%). The research recommendations involve regular weight monitoring, toddler weighing, health checks, and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. Understanding and counseling to parents need to be improved to reduce the factors that cause stunting in toddlers.
