Abstract

Education is important for the progress of a nation, therefore education must have the right methods so that education can run smoothly and achieve its goals. Educational methods must be appropriate to local environmental, social and cultural conditions, efforts to carry out appropriate education can be applied, so that educational goals can be achieved. As a teacher, you must be able to master educational methods, therefore the methods used by a teacher must be appropriate to the class conditions at hand. The importance of the method applied is one of the success factors in efforts to achieve educational goals. Islamic philosophy has its own perspective in assessing education, success in mastering various kinds of knowledge alone is not enough to be a factor in educational success. The education expected through Islamic education methods must reflect a form of step in perfecting noble morals. Scientific intelligence cannot yet be used as a benchmark for educational success, therefore educational methods must be in accordance with behavior that reflects the Islamic values ​​contained therein, so that the knowledge obtained can be balanced with Islamic character and behavior which prioritizes the moral values ​​contained therein.

Abstract

The author focuses on analyzing the Jigsaw learning method in class VII SKI subjects at MTsN 6 Nganjuk. This writing aims to analyze the implementation of learning using the Jigsaw method, how this method can have an effect on student interaction, student activity in learning, and the difference in receiving material in SKI subjects. This writing uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Information obtained from observations, then interviews, and analysis of learning outcomes. The results obtained from the Jigsaw method analysis had a very drastic effect on increasing student activity. They are more enthusiastic, active, and able to work together in groups. Then this method increases students' activeness and self-confidence when appearing in front of the class. Although there are advantages, this research identifies a problem, namely the limited time which can reduce the overall application of the method. Some students like learning in groups to interact and exchange knowledge with other friends. However, some students experience challenges in understanding the material and they do not feel comfortable when explaining the material in front of the class. The conclusion is that the Jigsaw learning method provides positive things to increase active student interaction, involvement and increase self-confidence in SKI learning. The implication of this research is the need for plans that are ready and supported by teachers that can help to successfully analyze the Jigsaw method in the context of SKI learning at MTs level.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is one of the 3 human intelligences, emotional intelligence is how humans can control, manage and control feelings so that they can have awareness in behaving and socializing with their environment, teachers' strategies in the learning process that are not appropriate can cause students to be inactive and focused in learning, students are less enthusiastic and some students are noisy in class. The aim of this research is to find out how to strengthen the emotional intelligence of Ulul Albab Ngronggot Islamic Vocational School students and to find out how PAI teachers' strategies are in strengthening emotional intelligence. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis which discusses teacher strategies in strengthening students' emotional intelligence. The results of this research are teachers' strategies for strengthening students' emotional intelligence. First, learning includes interactive, interesting, challenging, motivational activities. Second, students' emotional intelligence includes self-awareness, self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills, namely being able to interact well.
