Abstract

Solar energy (SE) is the most attractive form of renewable energy (RE) source for electrification. To harness SE, the photovoltaic (PV) system is required towards converting sunlight into direct electricity. The PV frameworks can be placed in areas with high energy potential. The performance of PV frameworks is complex work which depends on various parameters of the frameworks and their operations. The performance of PV frameworks can be evaluated using MATLAB/Simulink platform and real-time implementation. In this research article, the internet of things (IoT) is investigated to regulate and monitor PV system performance in various environments. IoT-based maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technology improves the response of real-time operating characteristics which makes it possible to control remote PV systems management, quickly diagnose problems and maintain them effectively. Additionally, it allows for recording production and performance data for analysis.

Abstract

Background: Mothers who have children with autism encounter significant difficulties in caring for their autistic youngsters, leading to higher stress levels and a reduced overall quality of life. External or internal factors can cause and respond to stress, affecting an individual’s physical, psychological, and emotional health. Thus, it is crucial to examine the quality of life of mothers with autistic children. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the relationships between stress, self-efficacy, and quality of life (QoL) in mothers of children with autism. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed from October to November 2019 to mothers with autistic children using cluster sampling techniques to capture their demographics and perceptions of stress, self-efficacy, and QoL. The data analysis was performed using covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM). Results: Of the 290 questionnaires distributed, 238 (response rate of 82%) sets were returned, but only 181 questionnaires were usable for further analysis. The findings demonstrated a notable impact of stress and self-efficacy on quality of life and an adverse effect of stress on self-efficacy. Self-efficacy serves as an intermediary in the relationship between stress and quality of life. Conclusion: In general, mothers of autistic children typically face moderate stress levels, but they have low levels of self-efficacy and quality of life. Mothers of children with autism need assistance and support from healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and psychiatrists, so that they can bear the challenges of raising children with special needs and enjoy a higher standard of living with less emotional and physical strain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine "the effect of conflict on employee performance at Giant Pekanbaru". In this study, a sample of 90 people was used. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and data analysis techniques used with a significance level of 0.05 were validity test, reliability test with crobanchalpha, simple linear regression and t test analysis and analysis of determination R Square (R2). The results of the analysis and data of this study using the help of SPSS Version 16.0, the results of the simple linear regression equation are Y = 45.561 + 0.256X. Based on the results of the research on the t-test showed results, Tcount> Ttable or 2,250> 1,987. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between conflict on performance. Based on the data obtained from the variable Y (performance), obtained R Square (R2) of 0.597 or 59.7%. R Square is used to determine the percentage of the influence of the Independent variable (conflict) on the Dependent variable (performance) is 59.7% while the remaining 40.3% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

In an advancing digital era, information and communication technology has undergone rapid development, affecting various aspects of life, including consumer behavior. Shopping activities that used to be done conventionally are now starting to shift to e-commerce platforms, one of which is Lazada. Lazada, as one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, faces challenges to stay relevant and attract consumers in the midst of increasingly fierce competition. This study aims to analyze the effect of marketing activities through social media (Social Media Marketing Activity) and electronic word of mouth communication (Electronic Word of Mouth) on consumer purchasing decisions on the Lazada e-commerce platform. Through a quantitative approach, this study collected data from respondents who are active Lazada users to measure the extent of the influence of these two variables on purchasing decisions. The results showed that both Social Media Marketing Activity and Electronic Word of Mouth have a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. This research is expected to provide insights for marketing practitioners in developing effective digital marketing strategies to increase loyalty and sales on e-commerce platforms.
