Abstract

The design of economic learning based on pancasila values and local cultural values to improve students’ knowledge, attitudes and economic behavior is the objective in this study. This type of research uses design-based research (DBR), through cooperative learning with the type of student teams achievement division (STAD). The collection of research data was carried out by essay tests, questionnaires and interviews with high school students as respondents. Feasibility testing of product design is validated by experts from State University of Malang, Indonesia including: learning design experts, economic materials, local culture and practitioners. Based on the analysis of factual models, it was found that current economic learning practices have not improved students’ knowledge, attitudes and behavior. The results of validation and testing of learning design prototypes are declared very useful and feasible to be implemented in economic learning in high schools. The results of the study show that economic learning design based on Pancasila values and local cultural values can improve knowledge, attitudes and economic behavior based on the nation’s ideology. This study can contribute to educational institutions in developing economic learning programs based on the nation’s ideology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of gender in increasing family economic income in Lopo Village. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the research population being families in the village. Samples were taken using purposive sampling techniques, and data was collected through interviews and observations as well as data from documentation. The research location is located in Lopo Village, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency. The results of the study show that the traditional division of roles between men and women affects access to economic resources, where men play the role of the main breadwinner. Although women have a significant contribution to the management of family finances, their participation in formal economic activities is still limited. This study concludes that women's empowerment through education and employment opportunities can improve family economic welfare. The recommendations given are the need for policies that support women's involvement in economic activities to achieve a better gender balance.

Abstract

This study explores students' perspectives on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 45 Economics Education students at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The analysis results show that 60% of respondents believe AI enhances learning efficiency, while 55.6% support its development in economic education due to its benefits for job readiness. However, concerns exist that reliance on AI may reduce critical thinking skills (62.2%) and only minimally support student collaboration (62.2%). These findings provide insights for the development of AI-based educational tools, though they are limited to a specific student group. Further research is recommended to include a larger and more diverse sample to gain a broader understanding of students' perceptions of AI in education.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKondisi sosial ekonomi penduduk dapat diamati dari tingkat pendidikan, tingkat kesehatan, dan kondisi ekonomi penduduk. Kondisi sosial ekonomi penduduk mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dari keberadaan tambang pasir dan kesadaran lingkungan terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Dunggala Kecamatan Tapa Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regreasi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien korelasi diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi pearson. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara Keberadaan Tambang Pasir (X1), dan Kesadaran Lingkungan (X2), terhadap Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat (Y).ABSTRACTThe socioeconomic conditions of the population can be observed from their level of education, health status, and economic conditions. Socioeconomic conditions affect the population's level of welfare. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of sand mining and environmental awareness on the socioeconomic conditions of the community in Dunggala Village, Tapa District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample size of 30 respondents. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the correlation coefficient test, the Pearson correlation coefficient value was obtained. This indicates that there is a fairly strong relationship between the Presence of Sand Mines (X1) and Environmental Awareness (X2) on the Socioeconomic Conditions of the Community (Y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dari revitalisasi pasar tradisional terhadap kesejahteraan pedagang di Desa Imana, Kecamatan, Atinggola, Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden. Instrumen yang di gunakan yaitu angket. Tekhnik analaisis data yang di gunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Seluruh data yang telah dikumpulkan selanjutnya akan diolah dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, nilai t-hitung untuk variabel revitalisasi pasar tradisional adalah 4,879, untuk menentukan apakah Ho diterima atau ditolak, nilai t-tabel dihitung dengan tingkat signifikansi statistik 5%. Nilai t-tabel yang diperoleh adalah 1,701. Perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari pada nilai t-tabel. Hal ini mengantarkan pada penolakan Ho, yang menyiratkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara revitalisasi pasar tradisional terhadap kesejahteraan pedagang. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan teoritis empiris dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara revitalisasi pasar tradisional terhadap kesejahteraan pedagang, nilai koefisien determinasi juga menunjukan bahwa variasi kesejahteraan pedagang di Desa Imana Kecamatan Atinggola Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara mampu dijelaskan oleh revitalisasi pasar tradisional.

Abstract

This community service program in Lombongo Village aimed to optimize local potential by integrating agriculture, tourism, and digital technology to strengthen socio-economic resilience. The participatory implementation combined needs mapping, integrated outreach, hands-on training (bed gardening, composting, product downstreaming), basic tourism facility revitalization (installation of site maps and minor repairs), and digital literacy strengthening through social media accounts and a village website. Outcomes showed previously unused homegardens converted into productive bed systems, the launch of value‑added local products (Tortila Chips, Banana Meltzz, Candlenut Lemongrass), installation of visitor maps, and the establishment of a village website for information and promotion. Simple evaluation (pre/post tests and practice observation) indicated improvements in knowledge and partial adoption of sustainable farming practices and digital marketing by micro-entrepreneurs. In conclusion, the integrated interventions enhanced local capacities and created new economic opportunities, while continued mentoring, stronger downstreaming processes, and maintenance of tourism infrastructure are required to ensure lasting impact.

Abstract

This study aimed to disclose the factors that affect public awareness and the efforts made by the Ayula Timur Village office, Bulango Selatan Sub-District, in paying land and building taxes. The data in this qualitative study were collected through interviews and documentation on eight informants (two key informants and six supporters). Based on the analysis, four factors caused the lack of public awareness in paying land and building taxes in Ayula Timur Village, Bulango Selatan Sub-District: (a) tax awareness, (b) occupation and income, (c) taxpayers' understanding of land and building tax regulations, and (d) the quality of service to taxpayers. The solutions offered to increase public awareness can be in the form of counseling carried out by village officials to increase the knowledge of the land and building taxpayers, a door-to-door process to increase togetherness at the time of collection, and distributing the Notification of Tax Due on time so that the community knows the amount of tax that must be paid.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of social environment, business capital, and entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial interest in the community of Ayula Timur Village, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey research method. The primary data used were collected through a questionnaire distributed to the residents of Ayula Timur Village. The sample comprises 64 respondents: farmers, plantation workers, livestock breeders, civil servants, entrepreneurs, and laborers. The data analysis technique employs multiple linear regression, assisted by the SPSS program. The results indicate that simultaneously, the variables of social environment, business capital, and entrepreneurial knowledge significantly influence entrepreneurial interest, with a significance value of 0.000. Partial testing results show that social environment, business capital, and entrepreneurial knowledge each positively influence entrepreneurial interest. The coefficient of determination (R-square) is 0.373 or 37.3%, meaning that the three independent variables collectively influence the dependent variable (entrepreneurial interest). In contrast, other factors outside the studied model influence the remaining 62.7%.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan inovasi produk pangan fungsional melalui pembuatan kue cup brudel berbahan dasar kunyit, jahe, dan ubi ungu yang mendukung kesehatan jantung dan tulang. Tujuan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aspek produksi dan pemasaran digital pada UMKM Rumah Brudel li Ummu Azzam, serta memperkenalkan bahan fungsional yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan konsumen. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan pelatihan dalam proses produksi, pengelolaan bahan baku sehat, pembuatan SOP produksi, serta penerapan strategi pemasaran digital melalui platform media sosial. Selain itu, dilakukan uji coba pasar dengan melibatkan kelompok dewasa dan lansia untuk mengumpulkan feedback mengenai rasa dan manfaat produk. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek produksi, dengan 82% responden melaporkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan mengolah bahan fungsional dan efisiensi produksi. Di sisi pemasaran, 82% responden mengungkapkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam membuat konten promosi dan menggunakan platform digital secara lebih efektif. Produk ini juga mendapatkan penerimaan positif dari konsumen terkait cita rasa dan manfaat kesehatan, dengan jangkauan pemasaran yang lebih luas berkat strategi pemasaran digital yang diterapkan. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan memperkuat pemasaran digital UMKM Rumah Brudel li Ummu Azzam. Inovasi produk kue cup brudel fungsional tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas produk tetapi juga memperluas pasar, memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, serta meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di pasar lokal dan digital.
