Abstract

This research is a form of qualitative research that explains Ramadan rituals in Lombok. Qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data such as written words resulting from observing people's behavior. This research focuses on the traditions carried out by the people of Lombok, starting from welcoming the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan to traditions after celebrating Eid or Eid al-Fitr. These traditions have existed for a long time and are a heritage that is guarded and preserved and used as an activity or routine by the people of Lombok. Through this tradition, people hope to receive blessings and a form of gratitude from the community for being able to meet or fast during Ramadan.

Abstract

Virtual communities have become a significant platform in facilitating social interaction in the digital era. With the development of information and communication technology, individuals can connect with each other without being limited by geographic boundaries. This article discusses the role of virtual communities in providing diverse social interactions, allowing individuals to share knowledge, interests, and experiences with fellow community members. Apart from that, this article will also discuss how virtual communities are able to facilitate the formation of strong social relationships, support the exchange of useful information, and expand individual social networks. Thus, virtual communities are not only spaces for social interaction, but also places where individuals can develop their social identities in a positive way.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of broken home families on changes in children's personality. Because broken homes have an impact that can be an obstacle for children, especially in carrying out their daily lives. The method used in this research is through literature review. The results of the research found include explaining that basically the family has a big role in fostering and developing children's potential. However, when the family does not carry out its functions as it should, especially in broken home families, it greatly affects the mental and development of children, because broken home children are often alone and lack interaction.

Abstract

This research is a form of qualitative research that explains the nyongkolan tradition in Lombok. Qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data such as written words resulting from observing people's behavior. This research focuses on the shift in cultural values and religious values in the Nyongkolan traditional ceremony due to changing times. This tradition has existed for a long time and is a heritage that is guarded and preserved and used as an activity or routine by the people of Lombok. Through this tradition, people hope to receive blessings and a form of community gratitude as well as a sacred form for the wedding that is carried out and as a closing in a series of wedding events in Lombok.
