Abstract

Ethnomathematics plays an important role to support a more meaningful concepts understanding in learning mathematics. The Kudus kretek dance is one of the entomathematics that supports understanding the concept of geometry. This study aims to examine the ethnomathematics of kretek dance which involves mathematical activities in learning mathematics. This research is a qualitative descriptive with an ethnographic approach. Data were collected by interview, documentation, and observation techniques. The results showed that the concept of the 900 angle was obtained through the movements of nampeni, milahi, melembar, mbathil, nggiling, sembahan, mrikso rokok, ngepak, pemasaran; the concept of acute angle is obtained through the movements of ngiteri, melembar, pemasaran; the concept of obtuse angle is obtained through ngayak, sembahan, ngiping, mrikso rokok, ngepak, pemasaran; and the concept of 1800 angle is obtained through a nggiling. The kretek dance is demonstrated in a certain beat accompaniment notation, the concept of two-dimensional geometry is found in the position of the feet of the dancers when they are doing the movement, while the concept of transformational geometry is obtained through twisting movements.

Abstract

In the digital era, technologies cannot be defined away from people's daily lives, especially students. The students who is active users of social media, use social media as an intermediary for their social life, so it is not uncommon for causing addiction to social media. This addiction creates a new psychological disorder of its users; social anxiety disorder. Social anxiety arises from the lack of human courage to meet the real social environment. This study tries to see how much does influence of social media addiction on social anxiety experienced by students. This study uses the Literature Review method. The research shows that almost 20% of the samples says that there is a relationship between social media addiction and social anxiety. This variable cannot stand alone because of other factors that also affect social anxiety

Abstract

The era of globalization is a door for students to explore and open up insight into society, with various impacts that occur in the current era, but it does not rule out that it will be one of the significant changes to the younger generation. The behavior produced by this era of globalization is due to a lack of supervision and many other influences. This study aims to describe personal social guidance services in fostering positive student behavior. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a literature review. The researcher collected several journals related to the focus of the discussion after analyzing it. Based on the results of the literature there are several factors, namely the personal experience of others and culture, with personal social guidance services to foster positive behavior for students more effectively using modeling techniques. Most students will imitate the things around them, motivation without a real example will not move the heart to explore itself so that it can find solutions to every social problem. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh financialleverage, umur perusahaan, kebijakan dividen, profitabilitas, danpertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaanindustri konsumsi yang tercatat pada Bursa Efek Indonesia padatahun 2017 – 2019. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakanpurposive sampling. Dengan metode tersebut diperoleh sampelsebanyak 63 sampel dari 21 perusahaan. Metode analisismenggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa variabel independen profitabilitas berpengaruhsecara signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan variabelfinancial leverage, umur perusahaan, kebijakan dividen, danpertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikanterhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

Abstract Etymologically, when traced from the origin of the word, the word character comes from the Latin "kharakterj", "kharassein", "kharax", which means to make sharp and make deep. Terminologically, character is defined as a way of thinking and behaving that is unique to each individual to live and work together, both within the family, community, nation and state. Character can be considered as the values ​​of human behavior related to God Almighty, oneself, and fellow human beings. The term character is associated and exchanged with the terms ethics, morals, and or values ​​and is related to moral strength, connoting "positive" not neutral. Learning is an interactive process of the results of the activities of educators and learning in a particular learning environment. Learning is a change in behavior or appearance with a series of activities, for example by reading, observing, listening and imitating. Generation Y, known as the Millennial generation, was born in 1980-1995. Generation Y is a generation that often applies creativity and focuses on self-development so they tend to choose jobs that are fun for them and tend to have fun. Millennials have a system of sensitivity to technology and make this generation smarter, millennials tend to have a curiosity about everything that is currently booming. They can be considered special because they have differences from previous generations. The influence of popular culture can be accepted by millennials, one of which is through films. This millennial generation is one of the generation groups that are very vulnerable to the effects of radicalism and intolerant actions amid the rapid flow of information circulating on social media and the internet. Because, a lot of information is not filtered and even becomes uncontrollable.

Abstract

Prank actions that are increasingly prevalent among teenagers are often without regard to the negative consequences, disrupting social order and reflecting moral decline. It is important to address this issue to protect the younger generation from harmful behavior and raise awareness of social responsibility. The purpose of this study is to discuss efforts to minimize prank actions through moral education in adolescents. Method. Applied in this research namely qualitative descriptive method whose sources are obtained from literature review. The results show that excessive pranks can trigger despicable behavior in adolescents, through the provision of moral education, adolescents will really want to be aware of good and bad things, and have a sense of compassion that can encourage adolescents to rethink their choice to do pranks. Moral education is effective in minimizing the negative impact of pranks by increasing adolescents' ethical awareness and social responsibility.   Keywords: Prank, Moral Education, Teenager.

Abstract

Educating the nation's life is one of the goals of the Indonesian state which is included in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in the fourth paragraph. Through education, everyone can learn to develop their potential to realize their happiness and perfection in life to become more qualified. Learning Indonesian has an important role in the process of teaching students about good and correct Indonesian language skills according to their goals and functions. The use of the TikTok application is one way to integrate technology in learning in class X SMA Negeri 11 Semarang negotiation text material. This study aims to find out whether the TikTok application can be used as an alternative learning medium that is effective in improving language skills and increasing students' interest in learning. This research also aims to motivate educators to create interesting learning media. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Its data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the use of the TikTok application in learning negotiation texts with the research objects of class X students of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang can be well received. Monotonous and boring learning can be resolved using TikTok media

Abstract

Cross-age stories or also known as hikayat story texts have their own uniqueness when compared to other types of texts. The uniqueness of the hikayat story text is in the presentation of the language in the story that uses archaic language, the contents of the story, and the plot used in the story. These uniqueness certainly requires an effective strategy in the learning process. After the Covid-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of human life, one of the aspects that has an impact is the field of education. In the field of education that is very influential is an educator or teacher. A teacher is required to always update and actualize the times and technology in relation to the learning process. Teachers must find alternative solutions to various problems for the smoothness and achievement of learning. One alternative solution to this problem is the implementation of Google Classroom media with a hybrid learning system. The hybrid teaching and learning process can use the help of electronic technology, one of which is Google Classroom. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this article is to describe the implementation of Google Classroom in teaching story texts for class X-5 at SMA N 11 Semarang. The results obtained from this article are that the implementation of Google classroom in learning story texts for class X-5 at SMA N 11 Semarang runs well and smoothly and can improve student learning outcomes. Abstract

Among the various kinds of learning theories, humanistic learning theory is a learning theory with an approach that humanizes humans to make students become fully human. Kiai Kholil Bangkalan is an Islamic figure that most of his students have succeeded in becoming human beings in various social spaces. This is interesting to see from a humanistic perspective. Therefore this research aims to look at the learning implemented by Kiai Kholil from the perspective of humanistic theory using a qualitative literature review. We collected various literature related to humanistic learning and the learning applied by Kiai Kholil. From that various literatures, it was found that humanistic learning regardless of the originators is essentially a learning philosophy that pays great attention to the uniqueness of students so that human values ​​in students are cared for and developed according to their own uniqueness, therefore the application of humanistic learning is able to be entered in various spaces as long as it contains that values. In the learning system implemented by Kiai Kholil, these humanistic values​​ are indeed implemented, starting from classroom learning, sorogan, to indirect learning in the form of his treatment to the students is  different its called isyarah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of broken home families on changes in children's personality. Because broken homes have an impact that can be an obstacle for children, especially in carrying out their daily lives. The method used in this research is through literature review. The results of the research found include explaining that basically the family has a big role in fostering and developing children's potential. However, when the family does not carry out its functions as it should, especially in broken home families, it greatly affects the mental and development of children, because broken home children are often alone and lack interaction.
