Abstract

Aquarium is one of the media that is often used as a habitat for various types of animals that live both on land and in water. Many beautiful fish in the scenery are placed in aquariums filled with water as decorations. However, to place fish whose natural habitat is in vast water into an aquarium must require knowledge of the water quality that is suitable for these fish. Clear water is not necessarily suitable for the living conditions of fish. Fish that live in an open water environment grow well because not only is there sufficient food but there is an exchange of matter and energy such as oxygen, carbon dioxide and salts. Whereas in an aquarium environment, as a closed system, sudden and drastic changes to water parameters often occur (such as temperature, ph and ammonia content), which will cause fish stress and often lead to death. Therefore, the knowledge and ability to determine good fish aquarium water quality is an important element for fish keepers, especially hobbyists of ornamental fish such as discus. Classifying quality with a crisp set is a common practice. The number of variables involved in the aquarium (in this case, the object of research is discus) causes determination with a firm (crisp) set to be less appropriate. Therefore, the fuzzy mamdani method will produce outputs that are more suitable for analyzing the quality of aquarium discus. The input variables are density, temperature, and acidity. The outputs used are "Good", "Medium", "Bad".

Abstract

This study aims to measure customer satisfaction with the Spotify application using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. Customer satisfaction is a crucial aspect for service providers to understand in order to improve product quality and competitiveness. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to active Spotify users from various demographics. After data collection, validity and reliability tests were conducted using SPSS to ensure the accuracy of the research results. The analysis shows that Spotify's customer satisfaction level falls into the very satisfied category, with a CSI score of 87.39%. This finding indicates that the majority of users feel that Spotify meets or exceeds their expectations in terms of functionality, service quality, and ease of use. This study provides important insights for Spotify to maintain and improve customer satisfaction through continuous service enhancements. In conclusion, user satisfaction with Spotify is relatively high, and these research results can serve as a reference for the company in formulating strategies for future service improvements.

Abstract

This community service activity is a collaborative initiative between Universitas Pelita Harapan and SLB Karya Murni Medan, aimed at enhancing digital literacy and technology skills among deaf students. The program focuses on two main areas: Data Science training using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and digital banner and poster design training using Canva. In the SAC training, participants were introduced to fundamental concepts of data analytics, data modeling, data exploration, information visualization, and key features such as Smart Discovery, Designer Mode, and Data Explorer Mode. A COVID-19 dataset was used as a case study to help students understand basic data analysis processes, including how to build models, run simple machine learning algorithms, and generate interactive dashboards. All materials were designed using visual, demonstrative, and applicative approaches to ensure accessibility for students with special needs and to support a gradual learning process. In addition, the Canva training was provided to foster students’ creativity in creating informative and visually appealing digital banners and posters. The results of the program show that the students were able to create simple data models, understand basic visualizations, and produce digital design works. This program provides a meaningful contribution to the empowerment of inclusive education and strengthens sustainable collaboration between academic institutions and special education schools.

Abstract

The canteen is one of the key facilities that supports the activities of employees as well as visitors in government institutions. However, a frequent issue encountered is financial management, which is still recorded manually in notebooks and not properly documented. This community service program was conducted at the Canteen of the Department of Agriculture, Langkat Regency, with the aim of providing guidance in manual financial recording, cash flow management, and monthly financial reporting. The methods applied in this program included observation, socialization, training, and evaluation. The results indicated an improvement in the manager’s ability to prepare daily and monthly financial reports, understand income and expenditure flows, and implement a recording system using Microsoft Excel. Through this program, it is expected that the canteen managers will be able to maintain transparency and accountability, thereby ensuring the sustainability of the canteen’s operations effectively.
