Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the ideology contained in the text of KH Said Aqil Shiradj's speech on the commemoration of the 73rd NU Muslim celebrations. The data obtained in video form was then transcribed in text form. In analyzing the data, the researcher uses Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis approach which consists of text analysis in the form of macro, super, and micro structures, analysis of social cognition, and social analysis. Text analysis seeks to analyze the themes, structure, and linguistic features of speech. The analysis of social cognition seeks to analyze the production of speech texts and social analysis to analyze the discourse that develops in society. From the two speeches analyzed there are ideologies, namely religious national ideologies. This ideology is in line with the ideology adopted by NU which is based on thereligious scriptures of Muslims. With this ideology, KH Said Aqil Shiradj uses the basis of the Islamic religion that comes from the hol book of Muslims which is used as a basis in creating a national spirit to play a role in maintaining the unity and integrity of the Indonesian state

Abstract

The world is currently infected with the covid-19 virus pandemic. The whole world is trying to find a way out, but in this case there is something positive about the covid-19 virus pandemic. One of them is learning words related to this co-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to identify words that were politicized with synonym words, namely treatment and therapy. The method in this study uses the corpus method with data extracted from the sketching machine application. Mother's research results are that word care is more politically related to nouns than adjectives, while therapeutic words are politicized with various words, such as nouns, adjectives, and verbs.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze translation techniques and translation ideology used by translators in translating subtitle texts in the film Olaf's Frozen adventure. In this study using descriptive qualitative research with data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences containing translation techniques in the subtitle text of the film Olaf's Frozen Adventure. The data collection technique in this study was to use documents and archives, by watching the film Olaf's Frozen Adventure and reading the available subtitles in both the source language and the target language and transcribing. In analyzing the data the steps taken by the researcher are watching and reading the subtitle text of the film Olaf's Frozen Adventure, analyzing translation techniques and translation ideology, and finally drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 12 translation techniques used by translators in translating the subtitles of the film Olaf's Frozen Adventure from 133 data. Based on the frequency of use of these techniques are: reduction technique 17, borrowing 9, literal translation 27, equivalent 24, calculus 14, transposition 11, amplification 5, particulation 2, linguistic compression 17, modulation 5, adaptation 1, and generalization 1. applied by translators in translating the subtitles of the film Olaf's Frozen Adventure is the ideology of domestication.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of speech acts in theform of non-speech locution, illocution, and perlocution in theanimated films of Adit Sopo and Jarwo and Upin & Ipin. Themethod used in this research is descriptive qualitative method.The sources obtained were through the animated films of AditSopo and Jarwo and Upin & Ipin on episodes with the themeof Eid. Based on data analysis, it has been found that in theanimated film Adit Sopo and Jarwo there are types of speechacts of locution, illocution, and perlocution. Likewise with theanimated film Upin and Ipin. In the animated film Adit Sopo& Jarwo, speech acts that often appear are illocutionary acts ofdirective type, and the least that appears is the act of speechmanagement, as well as Upin & Ipin animated films. Thisshows that the location of neighboring countries and culturesthat are not so much different in celebrating Eid can beinfluential in making the two animated films so that the speechacts that appear have almost the same percentage.
