Abstract

Desa Sarireja terletak di Jalancagak Kabupaten Subang dengan mempunyai sejarah dan nilai budaya tersendiri. Begitupun juga dengan nilai budaya kesenian islam yang menjadi identitas Desa Sarireja. Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai yaitu untuk menghidupkan kembali (revitalisasi) kesenian islam melalui musik rebana di lingkungan Desa Sarireja dengan cara melatih generasi muda sejak dini untuk mengenal rebana sebagai kesenian islam mulai dari jenjang SD hingga SMP. Sehingga kesenian islam di Desa Sarireja memiliki penerus yang terus melestarikan kesenian tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pembuatan jurnal ini dengan menggunakan metode penelitian observasi partisipatif, yakni mengamati secara langsung kegiatan kesenian Islam di Desa Sarireja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa di Desa Sarireja, berbagai upaya revitalisasi nilai dan kebudayaan islam telah dilakukan, seperti pengajian rutin mingguan, pendidikan agama anak, dan festival kebudayaan Islam. Masyarakat, tokoh agama, dan generasi muda memainkan peran penting dalam upaya ini, meskipun mereka menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, perubahan pola hidup, dan pengaruh globalisasi. Revitalisasi kebudayaan islam ini penting untuk menjaga identitas islam di tengah arus modernisasi dan perubahan zaman.

Abstract

This article explores the critical role of signage in enhancing transportation safety and preventing accidents on roadways. Effective signage serves as a vital communication tool that informs drivers and pedestrians of regulations, hazards, and navigational guidance. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature and case studies, we examine how various factors—such as visibility, clarity, design, and positioning of signage—contribute to overall road safety. The article highlights the correlation between well-designed signage and a significant reduction in traffic incidents, particularly in high-risk areas. Furthermore, we discuss the psychological impact of signage on driver behavior and decision-making processes, emphasizing how clear and intuitive signage can lead to safer driving habits.The study also considers the role of technological advancements, such as digital and interactive signage, in enhancing the effectiveness of communication on the roads. By identifying the key elements that influence the effectiveness of transportation signage, this research aims to provide actionable insights for policymakers, urban planners, and transportation safety advocates to improve road safety measures. Recommendations for best practices in signage design and implementation are presented, along with case studies illustrating successful interventions. A quantitative approach was used using a Likert scale questionnaire to collect drivers' perceptions regarding safety regarding signage (traffic signs). This questionnaire focuses on identifying areas that frequently experience accidents, congestion and certain safety problems. A Likert scale was used to assess the level of satisfaction and perception regarding safety along the road. The research surveyed a total of 116 respondents who were residents of the city of Tegal.

Abstract

Background: The rapid development of educational technology has encouraged the integration of digital learning media to enhance student engagement and motivation, particularly in secondary education contexts. Objective:  This study aims to examine the use of the Quizizz application as a learning medium and its effect on senior high school students’ learning motivation at SMA Negeri Bareng. Method:  This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data display, and verification techniques. Findings:  The findings reveal that Quizizz use positively influences students’ learning motivation by creating an interactive, enjoyable, and competitive learning environment that promotes active participation, focus, and enthusiasm during learning activities. Some challenges related to time management and competition pressure were also identified. Conclusion:  The study concludes that Quizizz is a feasible and effective technology-based learning medium for enhancing learning motivation among senior high school students. Contribution:  This research contributes to the literature on gamified learning media by providing empirical evidence of Quizizz’s effectiveness in motivating senior high school students. It offers practical guidance for teachers and schools in implementing interactive digital learning tools.
