Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between immunization status and exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of acute respiratory infections in infants aged 9-12 months at Kayu Kunyit Health Center Bengkulu Selatan. This research is an analytic study with a cross sectional design. The population of this study were all pregnant women with babies aged 9-12 months in the Kayu Kunyit Health Center working area in January 2022 with a total sample of 57 people. Data analysis was performed by chi-square test. Most had complete infant immunization status (54.4%), with exclusive breastfeeding (56.1%), with infants without Acute Respiratory Infection (59.6%). The results of the statistical test of the immunization status variable and the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection showed the value of X2 count (10.6) < X2 table (3.481) and the value (0.001) < (0.05) while for the exclusive breastfeeding variable with the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection, value X2 count (8,6 ) < X2 table (3,481) and value (0,003) < (0,05). There is a significant relationship between immunization status and exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of acute respiratory infections in infants aged 9-12 months in the Kayu Kunyit Health Center, South Bengkulu Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women with antenatal care during the COVID-19 pandemic in the working area of ​​the Talang Randai Health Center, South Bengkulu Regency. This research is an analytic study with a cross sectional design. The population of this study were all pregnant women who were in the working area of ​​the Talang Randai Health Center with a total sample of 56 people. Data analysis was performed by chi-square test. The results showed that most of them had good knowledge (37.5%), with a positive attitude (76.8%) and with regular examinations (60.7%). The chi square test for the knowledge and examination variables obtained the value of X2 count (14.1) > X2 table (5.591) and the value (0.001) < (0.05) while for the attitude variable obtained the value of X2 count (17.1) > X2 table (3.481) and value (0.000) < (0.05). There is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes with pregnancy check-ups in the working area of ​​the Talang Randai Public Health Center, South Bengkulu Regency.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor penting dalam keberhasilan kontrasepsi MAL adalah peningkatan pengetahuan ibu, jika pengetahuan ibu baik tentang MAL maka ibu akan dapat menerima MAL sebagai kontrasepsi. Pengetahuan yang rendah menyebabkan wanita takut menggunakan alat kontrasepsi tersebut karena sebelumnya rumor kontrasepsi yang beredar di masyarakat.Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu nifas dengan pemilihan Metode Amenore laktasi (MAL) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kota Manna Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu nifas di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kota Manna Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan pada bulan April 2023 dengan sampel berjumlah 56 orang.. Analisa data dilakukan dengan uji chi-square.Hasil yang diperoleh memperlihatkan sebagian besar responden dengan pengetahuan kurang (50.0%), tidak MAL (55.4%) dan hasil ui chi square diperoleh nilai ρ 0,04< ρ 0,05.Akhirnya dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan ibu nifas dengan pemilihan MAL di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kota Manna Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan.

Abstract

The behaviour of mothers of toddlers in weighing their children at health posts is influenced by several factors. Knowledge is one of the predisposing factors that influence a person's behaviour. Mothers with good knowledge have an understanding of health post activities such as the purpose of weighing, the purpose of PMT and the importance of immunisation, so that the higher the level of knowledge of mothers, the higher the frequency of visits to health posts. Objective: To determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge about posyandu and infant visits to posyandu in the working area of the Kedurang Health Centre, South Bengkulu District. This study employed an analytical method with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all infants with a KIA book in the working area of the Kedurang Health Centre, South Bengkulu District, in May 2024, with a sample of 89 mothers with infants. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test. The results showed that most mothers had good knowledge (56.2%), but infant visits to the posyandu were insufficient (55.1%). The chi-square test revealed a p-value of ρ(0.00) < ρ(0.05). There is a significant relationship between mothers' knowledge about posyandu and infant visits to the posyandu in the service area of the Kedurang Health Centre, South Bengkulu District.
