This research study was conducted to identify, review and evaluate change management carried out in higher education institutions in Indonesia, with a focus on the positive impact from the perspective of academics, students and the general public. Purpose. The main aim of this research is to identify, review and evaluate change management carried out in higher education institutions in Indonesia. Method. The methodology in this research uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on journals indexed by Google Scholar over the last 10 years. Results. The research results show that changes, such as curriculum restructuring, technology integration, and adaptation to global challenges, have had a positive or positive impact on academics, students and society in general. More than student readiness to face global challenges, strengthening relationships with industry, and improving the quality of academic services are concrete results from implementing change management. Therefore, the implementation of effective change management strategies, responsive curriculum development, close collaboration between universities, industry and society, as well as adaptation to developments in educational technology are expected to increase the positive contribution of universities to education, students and society. Conclusion. Research shows that changes in Indonesian higher education have a significant positive impact, especially in improving academic quality. Implementation of change management, such as the Lewin and Robbins model, brings measurable results in the educational structure. Changes in learning methods, curricula, and technology integration increase the relevance of graduates in the job market.

Abstract

The family unit constitutes the smallest social structure, comprising of a father, mother, and their offspring. Within the family context, the cultivation of harmonious relationships between spouses and children is imperative. When these relationships falter, it can significantly impact the developmental trajectory and character formation of children. Consequently, children may exhibit undesirable behaviors within their family and the broader societal framework. One prevalent consequence is their susceptibility to cyberbullying, either as perpetrators or victims, resulting in various adverse effects on their academic, social, physical, and emotional well-being. These consequences are particularly pronounced in children who are vulnerable and lack the capacity to effectively address such issues. Therefore, there is a pressing need for an analysis aimed at addressing the escalating risk of cyberbullying among children stemming from suboptimal family relationships. This analysis adopts the perspective of Colossians 3:18-21, which addresses marital and familial relationships within the context of Christian life.

Abstract

Global higher education institutions (HEIs) face complex demands for strategic adaptation. However, the integration of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) perspectives-particularly learning, growth, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability-remains limited in Indonesian HEIs, creating a need for a multidimensional performance framework. Methods: This study analyzes BSC implementation in universities through a comparative analysis of Indonesian and international cases, identifying success factors and challenges. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with thematic analysis of 22 articles from four major academic databases. Findings: Indonesian HEIs tend to focus on financial and internal process indicators. In contrast, international institutions are broader in integrating stakeholder and sustainability dimensions. Key challenges in Indonesia include limited IT infrastructure, academic cultural resistance, and inadequate contextualization of indicators. Success depends on strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, digital infrastructure, and continuous adaptation. Implications: This study proposes a holistic, context-sensitive, and measurable BSC adaptation model for Indonesian higher education. This research offers practical guidance and a theoretical framework for performance management in HEIs, particularly in developing countries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse and synthesise existing literature on the advantages and disadvantages of digitisation in catechesis. Data was collected from relevant journal articles published in the last five years. The results of the study show that although digitisation in catechetical activities offers many advantages, it also has very urgent disadvantages, such as the lack of knowledge among the faithful in utilising and operating digital media for catechetical activities, the lack of supporting infrastructure, the lack of interest among the faithful in spiritual content, some of the faithful utilising digital media to convey information about certain meetings, and some of the faithful also passively participating in online catechesis. Therefore, this study provides recommendations to the Church, catechists, and the faithful to overcome these challenges in order to increase the effectiveness of digitisation in catechesis.

Abstract

Plastic waste in Indonesia continues to increase and poses a complex environmental problem. Poor waste management leads to pollution and decreases the quality of life. Therefore, a solution is needed that is not only environmentally friendly but also integrates social, economic, technological, and educational aspects. This study aims to systematically review the potential of ecobricks as a multidimensional solution for plastic waste management. It analyzes 18 community service articles published between 2015 and 2025 from five national and international databases using a narrative-thematic synthesis method. The results show that ecobricks encourage community participation in waste management, open up economic opportunities through value-added products, and significantly reduce plastic waste volume. Technologically, ecobricks have sufficient strength for non-structural construction. In the education sector, ecobricks help improve environmental awareness and literacy among students and the general public. This study recommends strengthening local policies, continuous training, and further research to assess the durability of ecobricks in various environmental conditions.
