Abstract

This study investigates the challenges encountered in implementing Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom Action Research has emerged as a significant method in education to enhance classroom learning quality. However, its implementation is often hindered by various challenges that can impact the research process. Therefore, a profound understanding of potential obstacles during CAR is crucial to assist researchers in overcoming these barriers and achieving their research goals more effectively. This paper highlights the importance of identifying and addressing various challenges that may arise during CAR implementation. By understanding and addressing these challenges, researchers are expected to conduct CAR more efficiently and successfully achieve optimal outcomes in efforts to improve classroom learning quality. The study employs a qualitative approach involving descriptive methods and literature review. By integrating descriptive methods, literature review, and qualitative approach, this research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of CAR implementation and identify and overcome potential challenges during the process.

Abstract

This article explores the introduction of educational research methods through the basic concept of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Utilizing a qualitative approach, particularly literature review, the study aims to understand and gather data regarding specific phenomena, behaviors, and situations in education. The discussion focuses on the concept of Classroom Action Research (CAR), a method aimed at improving the learning process directly within the classroom environment. CAR involves systematic cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection, allowing educators to address complex challenges in teaching and learning effectively. The relevance of CAR in enhancing learning quality is significant, empowering educators to develop a research culture, innovate teaching approaches, and collaboratively solve learning problems. While challenges such as limited resources and educational complexities exist, opportunities for further development include comparative studies of CAR methods, technology integration, collaborative research, teacher capacity building, and longitudinal research to understand long-term impacts. Thus, understanding and applying educational research methods, particularly through CAR, proves to be an effective strategy in enhancing learning quality in educational institutions.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah hasil belajar siswa kelas 1 B dapat meningkat melalui pengunaan media Audio Visual dalam Mapel Aqidah Akhlak. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dan pengaruh media Audio visual dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas I B dalam Mata Pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SMP Swasta Darul Arafah pada kelas I B T.A 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Desain (rancangan) penelitian ini menggunakan 2 siklus. Model skema yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini terdapat empat tahapan penting dalam penelitian, yaitu Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, dan Pengamatan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar melalui penggunaan media Audio Visual pada kelas I B. Peningkatan dalam penelitian ini cukup berarti yakni dari rata-rata hasil belajar siklus I bahwa siswa yang memperoleh nilai tes awal di atas 70 adalah 40%. Rata-rata hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa adalah 62 berdasarkan KKM yang ditetapkan yaitu 70, ini berarti pemahaman konsep siswa secara klasikal belum mencapai 80%, pada siklus II termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik, ini berdasarkan taraf keberhasilan dengan nilai 71 dan nilai persentase 3,55%. Dengan demikian peningkatan hasil belajar Aqidah Akhlak dengan menggunakan media audio visual aktivitas pada guru dalam kemampuan mengelola pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media audio visual dapat dikatakan meningkat berdasarkan hasil pada siklus II yang telah dilaksanakan.
