Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem caused by lack of nutritional intake over a long period of time, generally caused by food intake that does not meet nutritional needs, causing stunted growth in children. In other words, the child's height by that standard is less. Therefore, stunting can lead to an increased risk of illness, death, suboptimal brain development, and decreased mental development. One of the factors that can cause children to experience stunting is lack of knowledge or errors in providing nutritious food needed by children. Objective: to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers in efforts to handle stunting in children in the work area of the Cireunghas Health Center. Method: This research design uses a cross sectional approach. The sample size in this study was 69 people. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. Data analysis using chi-square test. Result: Based on the results of the chi-square statistical test, the resulting P value is 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and mothers' attitudes in efforts to handle stunting in children in the Cireunghas Health Center Work Area. Suggestion: Further research is needed to look for other factors that influence the mother's level of knowledge and the relationship between these factors and the mother's level of knowledge.

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) are chronic infectious diseases. HIV/AIDS not only causes physical problems, but can also affect an individual's social and psychological problems. Stigma and discrimination are social problems that exist in the environment around people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), so they cause a decrease in the quality of life for HIV/AIDS sufferers. The existence of social support from the surrounding environment in the form of emotional support allows PLWHA to improve their health status so as to achieve a better quality of life. This research aims to determine the relationship between social support and the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) at Sekarwangi Regional Hospital. This research uses a correlational descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. Using a questionnaire with accidental sampling data collection techniques with a total of 72 respondents. Results: Based on the results of the analysis using the Chi square statistical test, it was found that p=0.000 < ?=0.05, Ha was accepted, which means there is a relationship between social support and the quality of life of people with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) at the Sekarwangi Regional General Hospital. The research conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between social support and the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) at Sekarwangi Regional Hospital.

Abstract

Background: The elderly are an important part of the population which is increasing in number in various countries. In facing the various problems and challenges faced by the elderly, family support is very important in helping them. This support not only provides confidence and motivates the elderly to overcome the difficulties they face, the type of support provided by family members can vary from informational support, emotional support, to practical instrumental support. All of these forms of support have a significant contribution to the independence of the elderly in carrying out daily activities. The independence of the elderly is also greatly influenced by their psychological condition or mental status. Various mental disorders such as stress, depression, and fear, as well as emotional conditions such as aggression, anger, and numbness, can significantly affect an elderly person's ability to live independently. Research Objective: to identify a description of the level of independence of elderly people in providing daily activities. Research Method: The research method used in this research is cross sectional. The total sample was 74 elderly people aged 60 years and over. The instrument uses a questionnaire and the measurement instrument uses the Barthel index. The researcher's data analysis technique uses Spearman Rho. Results: shows family support for the elderly, 47 respondents (63.5%) received high family support, 27 respondents (36.5%) received sufficient family support, there were 23 respondents (31.1%) who fell into the category of dependency and 51 respondents (68.9%) were in the independent category. Using Spearman Rho analysis, the results show that the p value = 0.000 < α = 0.05 and the r value = 0.849, meaning that there is a positive and significant relationship between family support and the independence of the elderly in financing daily activities in the Cikembar District Health Center Work Area. Sukabumi Regency. Conclusion: Increasing family support for the elderly is very necessary for the independence of the elderly. Abstract

Leadership is an important element and determines the smooth running of health services because leadership is the core of organizational management. Research using correlational analytics using a cross sectional approach emphasizes the time of measurement or observation of data on independent variables and dependent variables only once, at one time. The population in this study were 48 employees of the Selajambe Health Center. The sample used for research amounted to 43 people. The sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling. The data collection technique in this study was through interviews with the distribution of research instruments through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The P Value obtained from the Chi Square test for asymp sig. (2-sided) is 0.000. This value shows the result of p <0.05 and means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between leadership style and employee involvement in making decisions at the Selajambe Health Center.
