Abstract

Learning media is one of the important roles that learning brings to the successful achievement of educational goals. Books are the most basic media of the learning process as visual media. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the book Al'Arabiyyah Limahaarati Alkitaabah Fii Dhau'I Annadzriyyat Albinaaiyyah as a learning medium on maharah al-kitabah of Arabic Language Education-2 students in the 2021 batch of North Sumatra State Islamic University. This research is qualitative with a field research approach as well as a literature study. The results of the study show that the at-tadriibaat or the exercises themselves have a connection between the nahwu sharaf material and the maharah al-kitabah. Where, students are given the habit of writing ideas or sentences in Arabic through writing amtsilah or examples, at-tadribat or exercises, and insya' or composing assignments given every week.

Abstract

The skill of reading is referred to as mahārah qirā’ah in Arabic, which is the third skill after mahārah istima’ and mahārah kalām. In the Arabic Language Education program, some students come from non-boarding school backgrounds and may not have studied Arabic extensively before. This condition can present several challenges, especially in reading Arabic texts. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that contribute to the difficulty in reading Arabic texts among students from non-boarding school backgrounds in the Arabic Language Education program at UINSU, batch 2021. The method used in this study is qualitative research, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews/questionnaires with five students, and a literature review of previous research. The results of this study show that factors affecting the difficulty in reading Arabic texts among non-boarding school students include their educational background, a lack of understanding of nahwu (syntax) and sharf (morphology), insufficient vocabulary mastery, and a lack of interest in learning Arabic. This study reveals these factors in order to raise awareness among educators about the issue and encourage students to improve their skills in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong sekolah menyesuaikan pola komunikasi dengan masyarakat melalui media sosial. Platform ini memungkinkan penyebaran informasi kegiatan, program, dan prestasi murid secara cepat dan transparan, sekaligus membangun citra positif sekolah serta meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran media sosial dalam meningkatkan interaksi sekolah dengan masyarakat dan pengaruhnya terhadap interaksi sosial murid. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur kualitatif dengan menelaah artikel ilmiah dan dokumentasi unggahan sekolah di platform seperti Instagram dan Facebook. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media sosial memfasilitasi komunikasi dua arah, mendorong partisipasi masyarakat, dan mendukung pembelajaran interaktif. Namun, penggunaan berlebihan dapat mengurangi keterampilan interaksi tatap muka, menurunkan kemampuan sosial, dan meningkatkan risiko siber. Strategi efektif meliputi kebijakan digital, keterlibatan orang tua, pemanfaatan untuk pembelajaran, serta pemantauan dan evaluasi rutin. Pengelolaan yang tepat menjadikan media sosial sarana komunikasi dan pembelajaran yang efektif serta memperkuat hubungan sekolah-masyarakat.
