Abstract

Education is a process of developing all aspects of human life including knowledge, skills and character values. Western paradigms that enter Indonesia need to be sorted out, especially cultural deviations and Pancasila values. Strengthening character education seeks to shape student character to integrate Pancasila values, in order to create a generation with character, nationalist spirit, and global competence. The independent curriculum aims to realize Pancasila students through the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile which is divided into six dimensions, namely faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character, critical thinking, global diversity, independence, creativity, and mutual cooperation. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of student character education at SDN 2 Balerejo was carried out through learning activities, extracurricular activities, habituation, and the Student Character Education Strengthening Project. Supporting factors include school commitment, parental support and active student participation. However, there are some obstacles such as the lack of literacy, students' interest and willingness, and the low role of parents. This study suggests increasing school program innovation, improving parental support, and optimizing the learning process. Thus, it is expected that the Pancasila Student Profile can effectively shape students' character in accordance with the values of Pancasila and can be actualized in daily activities.

Abstract

Civic culture is the attitude and behavior of every member of society or a group that is socially recognized and considered important by the school, community and state and shows politeness, responsibility, care, openness and love for the nation. The aim of this research is (1) to describe the implementation of scout extracurricular activities at Vocational High School Sore Tulungagung, and (2) to find out what elements of civic culture are found in scout extracurricular activities at Vocational High School Sore Tulungagung. This research uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources were obtained from interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of the research show that: (1) The implementation of scout extracurricular activities at Vocational High School Sore Tulungagung has been carried out well and in line with expectations.. This is proven by the implementation of 5 Scout activities including: regular scout training, long march bhakti ambalan, perkasa, mustegak, joint scout training and (2) Elements of civic culture found in scout extracurricular activities at Vocational High School Sore Tulungagung including: active participation, solidarity, tolerance, social networking, and mutual cooperation. Where these elements are different but still continuous.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi membawa dampak besar pada pembentukan karakter manusia. Teknologi mempengaruhi cara berpikir, belajar, dan bertindak. Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan tugas hingga melaksanakan Ujian Akhir Semester, kemudahan ini menimbulkan rasa malas dan ketergantungan. Salah satu langkah efektif yang dilakukan Dosen PPKn Universitas Bhinneka PGRI untuk membentuk karakter jujur dan tanggung jawab pada mahasiswa adalah melaksanakan ujian lisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembentukan karakter jujur dan tanggung jawab pada mahasiswa Program Studi PPKn Universitas Bhinneka PGRI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter jujur dan tanggung jawab melalui ujian lisan melalui beberapa tahap pertama kesiapan dalam kontrak perkuliahan, pemahaman dan penyelarasan capaian mata kuliah, pembekalan materi dan pemberian reward. Kesimpulannya, ujian lisan dapat membentuk karakter jujur dan tanggung jawab pada mahasiswa PPKn melalui 4 tahap.
