Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational communication climate and work meaningfulness on organizational commitment among educational staff at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The hypotheses proposed in this study are that organizational communication climate and work meaningfulness have a partial and simultaneous effect on organizational commitment. The method used in this research is quantitative explanation, involving 366 members of the civil servant population. The data analysis method used in this study is regression analysis. The findings of this research indicate that organizational communication climate and work meaningfulness have a partial and simultaneous influence on organizational commitment. This research contributes to the study of organizational commitment among civil servants, which is influenced by organizational communication climate and work meaningfulness.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of Kaizen culture among educational staff (tendik) at Yogyakarta State University (UNY), as well as the challenges, obstacles and institutional strategies in implementing it. The Kaizen culture studied focuses on the 5R principles (Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Routine). This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach, where data is obtained through questionnaires, observations and interviews. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, with a population of 891 UNY educational staff. The research results show that the implementation of Kaizen culture at UNY has gone well, with a total average score of 736.79, which is in the "High" category. The highest score is in the "Concise" dimension (798.5), followed by "Neat" (763), "Care" (745.83), "Clean" (694.33), and "Routine" (683.22) . However, the main challenges and obstacles include a lack of consistency in implementation and awareness of the 5R principles. Proposed strategies to overcome these challenges include more intensive training and ongoing management support. By implementing the 5R culture, UNY creates a more productive and organized work environment, which ultimately contributes to increasing effectiveness and quality of work results.

Abstract

Perkembangan komunikasi digital di kawasan ASEAN membuka peluang bagi pertukaran budaya dan ekonomi melalui media sosial. Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi budaya Indonesia dalam konten Instagram Prilly Latuconsina serta bagaimana audiens ASEAN menerima dan memaknai representasi tersebut. Studi ini memiliki urgensi untuk memahami peran mikro-selebriti dalam diplomasi budaya digital, terutama karena narasi budaya kini lebih sering terbentuk melalui algoritma dan konsumsi konten visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis konten kualitatif terhadap beberapa unggahan Instagram Prilly yang merepresentasikan identitas Indonesia, dilengkapi dengan analisis komentar audiens dari negara ASEAN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Prilly berhasil menghadirkan citra Indonesia yang ramah, kreatif, dan berakar pada nilai budaya lokal, serta diterima positif di kawasan ASEAN sebagai bentuk soft power yang memperkuat kedekatan kultural dan potensi kolaborasi ekonomi digital.
