Abstract

The tradition of inheritance of Javanese people has a peculiarity that combines Islamic values and local customs. Allah Almighty in the Qur'an regulates and explains in detail about the division of inheritance, as in QS: An-Nisa verses 7-12, verses 33 and verse 176. Allah the Just does not neglect and does not neglect the rights of every heir with very clear and perfect rules. God determines the rights of every heir with justice and wisdom. Because wealth is a milestone enforcer of life for both individuals and community groups. This study aims to analyze the inheritance tradition of Javanese society in the perspective of Islamic Inheritance Law and Customary Inheritance Law. The Javanese tradition of inheritance has several main principles, namely: a) Equality: All children are entitled to receive inheritance, both male and female, b) Wisdom: Heirs can give more inheritance to certain children based on certain considerations, such as needs, achievements, or filial piety, c) Deliberation: The distribution of inheritance is carried out by consensus between heirs. The Javanese tradition of inheritance is basically in line with Islamic Inheritance Law, although there are some differences in the technicalities of inheritance distribution. This research uses normative research methods by conducting a positive legal approach to laws and regulations and case studies using qualitative data types. The data sources used are secondary data obtained from sources in the form of official documents, books, journals, the internet and other sources related to this research. This study recommends that socialization and education be carried out to the Javanese people about Islamic Inheritance Law and Customary Inheritance Law to avoid disputes in inheritance.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge, attitudes, and actions among children regarding dental and oral health care is due to the lack of health education. One way to improve this is through education using videos and mentoring. Most adolescents in Gentan Village have dental and oral health problems, with the target of dental and oral health in adolescents only reaching 70%, indicating relatively low dental and oral health levels. This service aims to provide education through audiovisual media and mentoring to adolescents about dental and oral health care, increase knowledge, and provide an understanding of the parts of the teeth, as well as how to properly brush teeth, including brushing the front, sides, chewing surfaces, deep parts, and tongue. This community service is carried out by providing health education using audiovisual media and mentoring. Through this activity, it is hoped that adolescents will become more aware of the importance of maintaining dental and oral hygiene and can properly perform the correct brushing technique to prevent dental caries and toothaches. At the end of the service, there was an increase in understanding and a change in attitudes from negative to positive in preventing dental caries. The results of this activity showed an increase in knowledge and a positive attitude toward dental and oral care. Therefore, this education and mentoring are important to increase children's awareness of the importance of brushing their teeth for better health.

Abstract

The transmission of Covid-19 transmission is very fast and causes many medical personnel to die including dentists so that many dentists refuse to take action on patients who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 and close their independent practice places so that this actually puts dentists in a position as bearers of various obligations by a series of sanctions if dentists do not carry out health services properly and are only concerned with themselves. The purpose of this study is to explain the regulations governing legal protection for independent practice dentists who refuse action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19, explain the efforts of professional organizations and the Cirebon Regency government in preparing regulations to protect independent practice dentists who refuse action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19 and formulate the concept of an ideal regulatory arrangement in protecting independent practice dentists who refuse to take action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19. The research method used is an empirical juridical approach with secondary and primary data collection. The results of further research were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that in fact dentists who refuse to provide treatment to patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19 are a right that must be fulfilled by statutory regulations. No efforts have been made by Professional Organizations and Regional Governments in preparing regulations to protect independent practicing dentists who refuse to take action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19, and the principle is only to comply with existing regulations from the Central Government. The ideal regulatory concept is behavior that starts with the community itself, because law is a social engineering formed by the community itself. Thus, the whole society and also the state can be subject to the same legal system, namely the balance between positive law and also the concept of living law.
