Abstract

Pelaksanaan program Desa Sehat Taraweang dengan adanya Galeri DESATA bertujuan untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat Desa Taraweang, Kabupaten Pangkep, Selawesi Selatan. Yang berpusat ke edukasi, pelatihan dan pemantauan di hygiene sanitasi, zero stunting, kesehatan remaja, pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan, dan pengelolaan pangan lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah intervensi secara menyeluruh ke enam Galeri DESATA dan aplikasi DESATAuntuk membantu pemantauan kesehatan masyarakat Desa Taraweang. Hasil yang didapatkan dari program ini memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan terutama di sanitasi lingkungan dan zero stunting, serta pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan. Namun, terdapat kendala dalam akses air bersih dan lingkungan yang masih perlu perawatan yang menjadi prioritas utama. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat Desa Taraweang, tapi perlu meningkatkan infrastruktur sanitasi, pelatihan, dan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan untuk program Desa Sehat Taraweang yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Poor well water quality is a problem often faced by rural communities in Indonesia. This community service activity aims to improve the quality of well water in Taraweang Village through the use of simple filtering equipment. Through training and demonstrations, the community of Taraweang Village managed to improve their understanding and skills in managing well water using filtering technology. The results of this activity showed a significant improvement in well water quality, including a decrease in iron, manganese and bacteria levels in the water. The success of this program opens up opportunities for replication in other villages experiencing similar problems, with a note that continuous monitoring and support are needed to ensure the sustainability of the use of this technology
