Abstract

Every Special School (SLB) requires appropriate assessments that are appropriate to the conditions of the students so that educational goals for children with special needs can be achieved. Assessments are needed to classify students according to their problems, so that they can be used as material for consideration in designing learning programs. Students at Special Schools (SLB) who have not implemented appropriate assessments receive programs or services in their learning that do not meet the student's needs. Initial research conducted at Special Schools in Kab. Tanah Datar found that there was no standard assessment used by the school in classifying students and creating learning programs for students with special needs. Determination of students at school based on age grouping. This research aims to develop a pocket book to assist SLB teachers in carrying out initial assessments of students with special needs. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RAD) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research produced an instrument in the form of a pocket book based on a behavior checklist which can detect students who have special needs by taking 3 classifications of Children with Special Needs, namely ADHD, Autism and Mentally Impaired. The results of this research show that pocket books can be understood and used by teachers to help teachers carry out initial assessments of students and group students in special schools in Tanah Datar Regency.

Abstract

This research discusses the problems faced by a widow after divorce, including the negative view of their status from society and the changes experienced both personally and in the neighbourhood. The purpose of this study is to understand the cognitive, affective, and conative dynamics experienced by divorced couples. This study used a descriptive qualitative method and involved one husband informant and one wife informant. Data were collected through interviews, then analysed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that there were psychological changes in couples who experienced divorce in cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. In the cognitive aspect, changes can be seen from the disharmony of household relationships and the desire for a better life after divorce. Meanwhile, in the affective aspect, there are differences between couples who feel sad and happy in making the decision to divorce. However, the decision to divorce is not easy for them.

Abstract

Early adulthood is often referred to as a transitional period, which is an episode of an individual's life in adjustment. This phase is often considered the most difficult phase in human development, because an individual usually still depends on their parents, teachers, friends in solving problems. them, but in this early adulthood they are required to be independent. Where as an adult it is hoped that they will be able to solve the problems or difficulties they are experiencing and they will be reluctant to ask questions or just tell others about their problems for fear of being considered immature. Thus I used descriptive literature with a qualitative approach to review several journals and reading sources. It can be concluded that an individual cannot be said to have mental health if the individual is unable to move or the individual has something that is blocking him from moving forward. So it can be concluded that  greatly affects the mindset and behavior of individuals in the present and in the future, so it will cause when an individual who has a  will experience difficulties in living their life, when they are in the early adult phase they will experience difficulties in solving complex problems, and they will experience difficulties in social relationships let alone relationships that lead to marriage and having new roles in their lives. Keywords: Early Adulthood, Mental Health, Mental Block,Therapy, Mental Block Symptoms

Abstract

Abstract The main problem in this thesis is that there are several housewives who have a low quality of life due to the high burden of caring for sick parents/in-laws and children who are still in elementary school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting burden and quality of life for sandwich generation women in Solok City. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational research type. The population in this study were 50 housewives who live together and play a role in caring for sick parents/in-laws and children who are still in elementary school. The research sample was 50 housewives who live together and play a role in caring for sick parents/in-laws and children who are still in elementary school. The author uses a Likert scale to obtain the required data on parenting burden and quality of life. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, it shows that (rxy = -0.126), and with a significance of 0.383 (p <0.05) this means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is rejected and the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship between the burden of caregiving and quality of life, meaning that the high or low burden of care received by a mother cannot make her perceived quality of life low. Keywords: Cargiver Burden, Quality of Life, Women in the Sandwich Generation
