Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of logotherapy in increasing the meaning of life in prisoners. People who commit crimes are people who have lost their meaning, they feel a false existential. Being in prison is an unpleasant experience, but when painful things cannot be interpreted, a person will not find his true self. In this study using the experimental method with a one group pretest posttest design. Logotherapy was given to 6 prisoners who were selected based on certain criteria. The intervention lasted 90-120 minutes per session, totaling 6 sessions. This study uses a non-parametric statistical analysis test with Wilcoxon sign-rank. The results of the significance scale scores were analyzed using the Wilcoxon sign-rank test. Based on the results of the different test on the significance scale score above, the p value was 0.046 (p < 0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the meaning of inmates' lives before and after being given logotherapy. Keywords: Logotherapy, the meaning of life, prisoners

Abstract

Many teachers of special schools (SLB) experience stress whether they realize it or not. Teachers who are under pressure can experience discomfort which can lead to depression, lack of motivation and frustration. The stress experienced by teachers of special schools has a negative impact on teachers of special schools and children with special needs (ABK), both physically, mentally, emotionally and behaviorally. Therefore, this problem must be addressed so that it does not have a negative impact on special needs school teachers and children with special needs. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of stress management strategies in overcoming these problems. This descriptive qualitative research was conducted using data collection techniques in the form of literature review. This study shows that coping with stress is an effort that consists of changes in cognitive and attitude in managing and overcoming pressure from within the individual and from outside the individual. The stress management strategy for Special School teachers consists of problem-oriented and emotional coping. Overcoming focus is a stress management strategy can be influenced by some cultural background, experience in solving problems, environmental factors, personality, self-image and social factors. It is believed that this research will greatly assist Special School teachers to improve the quality of education and training for Children with Special Needs, and through stress management can make people aware of the problems they face and make them more careful in their actions and take ways to solve problems.

Abstract

Every Special School (SLB) requires appropriate assessments that are appropriate to the conditions of the students so that educational goals for children with special needs can be achieved. Assessments are needed to classify students according to their problems, so that they can be used as material for consideration in designing learning programs. Students at Special Schools (SLB) who have not implemented appropriate assessments receive programs or services in their learning that do not meet the student's needs. Initial research conducted at Special Schools in Kab. Tanah Datar found that there was no standard assessment used by the school in classifying students and creating learning programs for students with special needs. Determination of students at school based on age grouping. This research aims to develop a pocket book to assist SLB teachers in carrying out initial assessments of students with special needs. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RAD) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research produced an instrument in the form of a pocket book based on a behavior checklist which can detect students who have special needs by taking 3 classifications of Children with Special Needs, namely ADHD, Autism and Mentally Impaired. The results of this research show that pocket books can be understood and used by teachers to help teachers carry out initial assessments of students and group students in special schools in Tanah Datar Regency.

Abstract

Binaural beats sebagai seni suara menjadi topik yang banyak diteliti oleh berbagai bidang, diantaranya dikatikan dengan induksi gelombang otak, relaksasi, dan transformasi kesadaran. Hal ini dapat  terjadi ketika  dua gelombang frekuensi suara yang berbeda diperdengarkan melalui masing-masing telinga, sehingga otak menciptakan persepsi nada tambahan yang tidak ada dalam stimulus asli. Penelitian ini bahwa binaural beats yang berada dalam frekuensi theta (4–8 Hz), terbukti mampu mempengaruhi pola aktivitas otak, meningkatkan efek, dan mendukung eksplorasi kesadaran ke arah lebih dalam. Dalam penelitian berbasis elektroensefalografi (EEG) menjelaskan bahwa paparan dari music binaural beats mampu meningkatkan sinkronisasi neuron di sistem limbik, yang dapat berperan dalam regulasi emosi dan kesadaran. Binaural beats memberikan efek yang siginifikan terhadap psikologis dan fisiologis individu, diantaranya dapat menurunkan kadar kortisol dan detak jantung, yang dapat mempengaruhi efek. Namun efek ini masih belum konsisten dan masih menunjukkan variasi pada setiap individu, hal ini ditentukan oleh pengalaman dan kondisi lingkungan sekitarnya.  Beberapa penelitian juga menunjukkan kombinasi antara binaural beats dengan beberapa elemen akustik tambahan, seperti seni auditory relaksasi, kemudian penggunaannya di lingkungan yang sedikit/ mini. Dengan beberapa temuan yang pada binaural beats serta efek yang ditimbulkan memiliki keterkaitan dengan kesadaran dan pengembalian kepada gelombang teta. Maka dapat disimpulkan binaural beats bisa digunakan sebagai media penghantar untuk menuju gelombang teta, yang akan membantu dalam induksi terapi transpersonal. Meskipun hal ini juga masih membutuhkan penelitian lanjutan untuk melihat sejauh mana efektivitasnya dalam terapi yang menggunakan induksi.  Dengan pendekatan yang lebih sistematis dan evidence-based, binaural beats dapat dijadikan sebagai bagian metode terapi komplementer di psikologi terkhusus pada terapi transpersonal

Abstract

Humans often face many different problems. Problems can be understood as part of each struggle that is inevitable for every human being. Every problem sometimes feels so heavy, so many people feel very sad when they are in trouble. From an Islamic point of view, humans were created to serve Allah SWT. Belief is even the basis for assessing the quality of a Muslim's personality. Just being a Muslim was never supposed to be a believer before. he can face and complete various tests from Allah SWT wisely. Many people do not have the courage or even the skills to accept deciding to solve a problem, they can even drag on with the problem which can then disrupt their physical, emotional and mental stability. This study uses a type of literature review by obtaining data by collecting data through secondary data sources, whether from books, journals, or related sources. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran dan penyebab culture shock pada mahasiswa perantauan di UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar dan mengetahui dampak culture shock pada mahasiswa perantauan di UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa perantau dari luar Sumatera Barat. Teknik validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis data dilapangan oleh Milesdan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana fenomena online disinhibition effect dapat terjadi terhadap individu yang berkepribadian introvert. Individu yang berkepribadian introvert cenderung bersikap tertutup, menyendiri, dan menarik diri juga membatasi dalam interaksi sosial secara langsung. Sehingga orang yang memiliki kepribadian introvert dapat mengalami online disinhibition effect karena beranggapan bahwa ini terjadi secara tidak langsung, dengan perilaku yang lebih agresif dan terbuka yang dilakukan secara anonymous. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskritif dari hasil review terhadap buku, jurnal penelitian, dan sumber data lainnya yang relevan.

Abstract

Children's psychological development is development related to conditions that can affect children's daily lives both in the circle of friends and the surrounding community. There are so many factors that can affect the psychological development of children, including the family environment which will be the closest factor in the psychological development of children. Because basically the family is the first place for children to socialize after being born. The family is the first place for children regarding the social environment. If a child is in a harmonious and happy family, he will experience good psychological development, he will grow into a child who is physically, mentally and behaviorally healthy. However, it will be inversely proportional to children who grow and develop in an inharmonious family environment, such as the occurrence of an affair from one of their parents or both parents having an affair. These problems will have a tremendous impact, both on the perpetrators of the affair themselves, their partners and their children. Children will become victims of the infidelity committed by their parents. The impacts that will be obtained by the child include: there will be a child's distrust of a marriage relationship or distrust of the opposite sex, will cause anger and hatred in the child towards parents who have an affair, will cause indifference to their environment, children will close himself from the environment, the child will experience stress and the worst the child will experience depression. From the impact that the child gets, it will affect the development of the child in the future, both physically, psychologically and mentally. Efforts that can be made to maintain household harmony and maintain children's psychological development can be done by parents by building and maintaining small family harmony, by doing positive things together, spending weekends traveling together, being open to one another. So that the household is harmonious and the development and growth experienced by children is good and healthy physically, mentally and in behavior for the future.Keywords: Affair, Perkembangan Psikologis Anak, Children
