Abstract

Petani ikan patin di Kota Pekanbaru mengalami kendala dalam pengelolaan dan pemasaran ikan patin, dimana harga jual rendah, sedangkan biaya pengelolaan tinggi. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk membantu petani ikan patin untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan nilai jual patin yang dihasilkan melalui diversifikasi produk olahan ikan patin yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Diversifikasi produk olahan berbasis ikan patin sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah dan sekaligus meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat petani ikan patin di Kel. Air Dingin kec. Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru Riau. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah: 1. variasi produksi olahan patin, mengingat ikan patin sangat melimpah, namun pengolahannya masih sangat kurang. Produk yang ditambahkan adalah abon, nugget, dan kerupuk iakn patin. 2. Pengemasan produk yang lebih menarik. 5. Perubahan strategi pemasaran. Ikan patin biasanya dijual pengepul atau ke pasar tradisional di Pekanbaru. Pemasaran yang dilakukan dengan cara menjual ke toko/supermarket, membuat brosur, dan memberi label agar kelihatan menarik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah : 1. Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan mitra tentang pembuatan varian olahan patin (nugget) 2. Adanya kemasan yang menarik, sehingga meningkatkan daya jual dan 3. Semakin luasnya daerah pemasaran

Abstract

Regresi robust merupakan sebuah metode yang dikembangkan untuk memiliki kinerja yang baik ketika data yang dianalisis menyimpang dari asumsi yang mendasari, misalnya terdapat pencilan yang dapat menyebabkan galat menjadi tidak berdistribusi normal. Salah satu metode estimasi pada regresi robust adalah S-estimator, metode ini memiliki fungsi pembobot antara lain pembobot Welsch dan Tukey Bisquare. Pada penelitian ini, kami membandingkan bobot-bobot pada metode S-estimator pada data berukuran: 30, 60, 100 dan 200 yang diberikan kontaminasi pencilan sebesar: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% dan 30%. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi diperoleh bahwa kedua pembobot menghasilkan nilai MSE (Mean Square Error) dan bias yang serupa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua pembobot memberikan hasil yang sesuai dan sama baiknya pada regresi S-estimator. Robust regression is a method developed to have good performance when the analyzed data deviates from the underlying assumptions, for example, there are outliers that can cause errors to be not normally distributed. One of the estimation methods in robust regression is the S-estimator, this method has weighting functions, including the Welsch and Tukey Bisquare weights. In this study, we compared the weights in the S-estimator method on data sizes: 30, 60, 100 and 200 which were given outlier contamination of: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30%. Based on the simulation results, it is found that the two weights produce similar MSE (Mean Square Error) and bias values. So it can be concluded that the two weights provide appropriate and equally good results in the S-estimator regression

Abstract

One of the polymer materials widely used in the field of engineering construction to be a candidate to replace metal materials is unsaturated polyester. This reason is because this material has many advantages such as low mass, ease of shape and resistance to moisture. However, this material still has many shortcomings, including low mechanical strength and easy cracking. Unsaturated polyester polymer material is widely used as a matrix for making composite materials for engineering fields such as vehicles and ship hulls. This research studies the flexural strength of composite materials from unsaturated polyester reinforced with finely ground sugarcane fibre. From the results of flexural strength testing, it is known that there is a tendency towards the variable addition of finely ground sugarcane fibre. increases from 10% to 20%, and after 20% the bending stress value tends to decrease. The maximum flexural stress value was obtained by adding a percentage of finely ground sugarcane fibre. with a percentage of 20% 102.32 MPa, this value can increase the maximum flexural stress value of pure polyester by 42.52 MPa, showing an increase of 249.63%

Abstract

This research was conducted at the UPT. Balai Pelaksana Penyuluhan Ketahanan Pangan Pertanian dan Perikanan (BP2KP3) located at Jl. Keramat Indah, Medan Tenggara, Medan City, North Sumatra, from March to June 2024. The study aimed to assess the effects of applying liquid tofu waste organic fertilizer (POC) on the growth and yield of lettuce plants. The research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatments and six replications, resulting in 24 experimental plants. The treatments applied were: P0 = 0% tofu liquid waste, B = 15% tofu liquid waste (150 ml/1 liter of water), C = 30% tofu liquid waste concentration (300 ml/1 liter of water), and D = 45% tofu liquid waste concentration (450 ml/1 liter of water). The study results indicated that applying doses of tofu liquid waste influenced plant height and leaf count parameters but had no effect on leaf area and net weight of the plants. From the study, it was concluded that the optimal impact of liquid tofu waste POC on the growth and yield of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.) has yet to be achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer from Kepok banana stems on the growth and yield of Samhong mustard greens. The design used was a non-factual completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and six repetitions with doses of 0%, 10%, 20% and 30%. This research was carried out in the FMIPA greenhouse at Medan State University. The parameters tested were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, wet weight and dry weight. The research results showed that the optimum dose of applying liquid organic fertilizer from Kepok banana stems to Samhong mustard greens was a concentration of 10%. Providing liquid organic fertilizer from kepok banana stems (Musa paradisiaca L.) had a significant effect on height growth, number of leaf blades, leaf area, wet weight and dry weight of Samhong mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.).

Abstract

Data panel merupakan gabungan antara data cross section dan data time series. Salah satu model analisis regresi data panel adalah model fixed effect. Model fixed effect mempunyai asumsi bahw intersep berbeda untuk setiap individu, tetapi koefisien slope konstan. Estimasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan variabel dummy untuk menjelaskan adanya perbedaan intersep antar individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi model fixed effect pada analisis regresi data panel dengan metode least square dummy variable dan menerapkannya pada data upah minimum provinsi di Indonesia tahun 2014-2017. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan estimasi parameter = untuk model fixed effect pada analisis regresi data panel upah minimum provinsi di Indonesia diperoleh model sebagai berikut, = 5.248452+ + 0.007415 + 0.002882 + 1.63E-07dengan, = upah minimum provinsi, = indeks harga konsumen, = tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja, = produk domestik regional bruto dan = variabel dummy, k = 1,2, ...,33 (provinsi). Panel data is a combination of cross section data and time series data. One of panel data regression analysis model is the fixed effect model. The fixed effect model has the assumption that intercepts are different for each individual, but the slope coefficient is constant. Estimation is done by using dummy variables to explain the existence of intercept differences between individuals. This study aims to estimate the fixed effect model in panel data regression analysis using the least square dummy variable method and apply it to the provincial minimum wage data in Indonesia in 2014-2017. Based on the results of the research that has been done by using paremeter estimator = for fixed effect model in the panel regression analysis on provincial minimum wage data in Indonesia, we obtained as follows, = 5.248452+ + 0.007415 + 0.002882 + 1.63E-07 with, = provincial minimum wage, = consumer price index, = labor force participation rate, = regional gross domestic product, = dummy variable , k = 1,2, ...,33 (province).

Abstract

The hydram pump has been designed and manufactured to help people who lack water on plantation land. Hydraulic pumps are an appropriate technology in the field of pumping that use water momentum (water hammer) to raise the pumped water. The design and manufacture of hydram pumps aims to raise water from springs to residents' plantations. The specifications for making a hydram pump are 2 inches for the pump body, 3 inches for the pump air tube, with 3 valves (2 exhaust valves and 1 delivery valve). The results of test 1 at an output height (h) of 1m produced a pump output discharge of 3.12x10-4m3/s, a discharge at the exhaust valve of 7.52x10-4m3/s, and an efficiency of 19.59%. Test 2 at an output height (h) of 2.5m produced a pump output discharge of 2.08x10-4m3/s, a discharge at the exhaust valve of 7.27x10-4m3/s, and an efficiency of 36.96%. Then test 3 at an output height (h) of 5m produced a pump output discharge of 1.08x10-4m3/s, a discharge at the exhaust valve of 7.16x10-4m3/s, and an efficiency of 43.66%. The test results show that the higher the h output, the smaller the water discharge coming out of the hydram pump, and the greater the efficiency of the hydram pump.
