Abstract

Pelaporan insiden keselamatan pasien (PSIR) merupakan komponen krusial dalam sistem perawatan kesehatan untuk memastikan keselamatan dan kesejahteraan pasien. Meskipun telah diterapkan lebih dari satu dekade di Indonesia, angka pelaporan insiden tetap rendah akibat hambatan signifikan. Hambatan tersebut meliputi budaya shaming dan blaming yang kuat, beban kerja tinggi, kurangnya waktu untuk melapor, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang sistem pelaporan, dan dukungan manajemen rumah sakit yang tidak memadai. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa feedback dan supervisi yang efektif dapat secara signifikan mengurangi insiden keselamatan pasien. Namun, ketakutan akan konsekuensi negatif, kurangnya dukungan psikologis dari manajemen, dan beban kerja tinggi tenaga kesehatan (HCWs) memperburuk masalah pelaporan. Selain itu, sistem pelaporan yang rumit dan birokratis juga menghalangi HCWs untuk melaporkan insiden. Untuk mengatasi hambatan ini, diperlukan pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan perubahan budaya organisasi, edukasi dan pelatihan berkelanjutan, dukungan manajemen yang kuat, dan penyederhanaan sistem pelaporan. Memastikan alokasi waktu yang cukup untuk pelaporan insiden serta memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk proses pelaporan yang efisien dapat meningkatkan angka pelaporan. Upaya ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan mendukung bagi tenaga kesehatan, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan keselamatan pasien.

Abstract

Safety Behavior is a way of behaving that is carried out by individual interest to minimize or prevent potential disasters. Safety behavior in this research focuses on the human behavior aspect in workplace accidents. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with safety behavior among SPBE Pertamina employees in Pandeglang District. This research uses quantitative methods by cross-sectional and observation approach to the study. The sample of this research is all of the 40 employees in SPBE working in charge of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) filling. Total sampling is used as a sample retrieval technique, and the data retrieval technique used is a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test analysis. The result of this study shows a significant relationship between knowledge of the safety behavior of SPBE employees (p-value 0.034) and there is a significant relationship between attitude with SPBE employees' safety behavior (p-value 0.011). This study concludes that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude toward safety behavior among SPBE Pertamina employees in the Pandeglang District. Therefore, it is suggested that SPBE leadership conduct education for employees so that employee knowledge and attitudes increase so that they can increase good safety behavior for employees.

Abstract

Smoking is one of the main risk factors for several chronic diseases that can lead to death. The negative health effects of smoking are considerable. Education about the dangers of smoking needs to start from school age. Fun educational media can be used to increase students' awareness of the dangers of smoking, one of which is the use of snakes and ladders game media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of snakes and ladders game media on increasing knowledge of the dangers of smoking in students of SMKS Mathla'un Nawakartika Pandeglang. This community service approach is delivered through various activities, including site preparation methods, counseling methods, pre and post test methods, and the use of snakes and ladders games about the dangers of smoking. The results of the service showed that students of SMKS Mathla'un Nawakartika had low knowledge and awareness about the dangers of smoking before counseling. After counseling and snake and ladder games have been proven effective in increasing the average knowledge about the dangers of smoking in SMKS Mathla'un Nawakartika students, so that it can be used as an alternative learning media innovation in an effort to increase student knowledge.
