Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of organizational climate on OCB and employee engagement with job satisfaction as an intervening variable for permanent employees at middle management level of cement industry in Bogor. The research method uses mixed method with questionnaire for quantitative research and Delphi method for qualitative research. The research sample was 183 people from 334 permanent employees at middle management level. The conclusion in this research is there is a significant positive effect with the coefficient value Z1= 0.551 organizational climate on OCB. There is a significant positive effect with coefficient value Z2 = 0.578 organizational climate on employee engagement. There is a significant positive effect with the coefficient value xy = 0.939 organizational climate on job satisfaction. There is a significant positive effect with coefficient value yz₁ = 0.413 job satisfaction on OCB.

Abstract

Every industry always wants to be successful and help improve the welfare of its employees, including the cement industry in Bogor Regency. However, not all companies can continue to thrive because of the different organizational climates. This difference is due to differences in the system or way of managing the company itself so that the levels of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Employee engagement are also different. In fact, these two things have a strong influence on increasing the success of a company. This is because, OCB and employee engagement are related to the quality of human resources in each company. For this reason, researchers want to find out more about the effect of Organizational Climate on OCB and Employee Engagement with a case study on the cement industry in Bogor Regency. This research was conducted using an empirical study method using path analysis techniques and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with 40 respondents. The results of this study are that there is a positive influence between Organizational Climate on OCB and Employee Engagement.

Abstract

PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, a leading producer in Indonesia, has implemented a new waste management program as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental sustainability efforts. This program utilizes a unique waste management model and a social-based waste management concept. The study employs a mixed-method approach, including both quantitative and qualitative methods, with data collected through questionnaires, focus group discussions, and field observations. The waste management system is digital, using the scrum method, making it easier to adapt to changing user needs. The digital platform facilitates waste management, distribution, and efficiency, ensuring transparency in waste management. The program also helps the company report total waste and waste management performance in real-time.
