Abstract

One of the problems found at MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung is the lack of understanding and ability of students in understanding Islamic Religious Education lessons, especially zakat material. One of the proposed models is discovery learning, which is known to train students' abilities in critical, analytical, and creative thinking. The purpose of this research is to know: (1) to know the effect of the discovery learning model on improving student learning outcomes in fiqh material at MTS Ahmad Yani Jabung. (2) to know the students' response to the discovery learning learning model. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the type of quasi-experimental design using two classes, the first class using the lecture model and the second class using the discovery learning model on the same material using tests. The results showed that the use of discovery learning model has a significant effect on students' learning outcomes in zakat material. Through paired t-test between pre-test and post-test in the experimental class, it was found that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000, smaller than 0.05, which indicated a significant difference between students' learning outcomes before and after using the discovery learning model. This confirms the positive influence of this learning model on students' understanding of fiqh material. In addition, students' responses to the discovery learning model were also positive, with a high percentage of satisfaction, indicating that students at MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung liked the use of this learning model.

Abstract

The implementation of SSKU (Standard Student Cadre of Ulama) ubudiyah activities as a support for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at MA Almaarif Singosari. This research aims to: (1) Identify the content of the material in the SSKU ubudiyah practice book, and (2) Analyze how the book is implemented at MA Almaarif Singosari.  This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were then analyzed qualitatively to describe the application of SSKU. The results showed that: (1) The content of the material in the SSKU ubudiyah practice book is considered good because it covers the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students at each level of education (ula, wustho, and 'ulya). (2) The implementation of the SSKU book goes through three main stages: planning (determining objectives, procedures, and schedules), implementation (including memorization activities, explaining, and individual and group practice), and annual evaluation to assess the implementation and success of the SSKU book as needed.

Abstract

Pelatihan dan pendampingan kepemimpinan serta manajemen organisasi merupakan pendekatan strategis dalam meningkatkan kapasitas pengurus organisasi mahasiswa, khususnya Himpunan Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam (HMPS PAI) STAI Ma’had Aly Al-Hikam Malang. Program ini dirancang melalui tiga tahapan utama: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan melibatkan identifikasi kebutuhan peserta, perumusan tujuan, penyusunan materi, serta penentuan narasumber yang relevan. Tahap pelaksanaan mengintegrasikan teori dan praktik menggunakan pendekatan berbasis nilai-nilai lokal, keagamaan, dan konsep manajemen modern untuk menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang holistik. Tahap evaluasi digunakan untuk menilai relevansi materi, tingkat pemahaman peserta, dan efektivitas pelatihan melalui kuesioner, pengamatan langsung, serta tugas implementasi pasca-pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu menerapkan keterampilan kepemimpinan dan manajemen organisasi yang diperoleh dalam konteks nyata organisasi mereka. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi teknis, tetapi juga membentuk karakter kepemimpinan mahasiswa yang adaptif dan berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam. Temuan ini mendukung pentingnya pengembangan pelatihan berbasis pengalaman langsung dalam memperkuat kapasitas pengurus organisasi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Pesantren Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang bertujuan membina santri agar memiliki Kecerdasan Spiritual (SQ), Kecerdasan Emosional (EQ) dan Kecerdasan Intelektual (IQ) santri. Salah satu ikhtiar untuk mewujudkannya adalah Program Qiyamul Lail yang harus diikuti oleh seluruh santri. Artikel ini disusun dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Temuan artikel ini ada dua. Pertama, Implementasi Program Qiyamul Lail di Pesantren Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang meliputi perumusan tujuan, pelaksanaan, pembinaan dan pengawasan. Kedua, dampak Program Qiyamul Lail di Pesantren Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang meliputi peningkatan Kecerdasan Spiritual (SQ) dan Kecerdasan Emosional (EQ). Implikasinya, temuan artikel ini dapat diduplikasi di pesantren atau lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya yang relevan. Kata Kunci: Qiyamul Lail, Kecerdasan Spiritual (SQ), Kecerdasan Emosional (EQ), Kecerdasan Intelektual (IQ), Pesantren Bahrul Maghfiroh.

Abstract

Many Islamic Religious Education students of STAI Ma'had Aly Al-Hikam experience difficulties in translating texts from Arabic to Indonesian, as reflected in their translations. This is a natural thing to happen to students and novice translators due to the different characteristics between the source and target languages. However, if this problem is not overcome, it can hinder students' understanding of Arabic literature. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems that arise when translating. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method. The research subjects were second-semester students who were taking the tarjamah course. The researcher used a questionnaire to collect data and analyzed it using descriptive analysis. The result of this study is that the problems in translating Arabic texts for students of the Islamic Religious Education study program at STAI Ma'had Aly Al-Hikam Malang are influenced by two aspects, namely linguistic and non-linguistic aspects.
