Abstract

Muhammadiyah believes that tolerance and cooperation among religious communities are essential elements in creating peace and harmony amidst Indonesia's diversity. The objective of this research is to explore the core values emphasized by Muhammadiyah in moderate Islam and how these values contribute to the advancement of Islamic civilization in Indonesia. The method employed in this research is descriptive qualitative. The findings highlight Muhammadiyah's role in advocating moderate Islam as the foundation for building a just, inclusive, and cultured society in Indonesia, thus remaining pivotal in addressing contemporary challenges with moderate Islamic values and rahmatan lil alamin principles. Abstrak Muhammadiyah percaya bahwa toleransi dan kerjasama antarumat beragama merupakan elemen penting untuk menciptakan perdamaian dan harmoni di tengah keragaman Indonesia. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai utama yang ditekankan oleh Muhammadiyah dalam Islam moderat dan bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan peradaban Islam di Indonesia. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah peran Muhammadiyah dalam mengadvokasi Islam moderat sebagai fondasi untuk pembangunan masyarakat yang adil, inklusif, dan beradab di Indonesia tetap menjadi tonggak penting dalam menjawab tantangan zaman modern dengan nilai-nilai keislaman yang moderat dan rahmatan lil alamin.

Abstract

This research evaluates the effect of the implementation of an Accounting Information System (AIS) on the financial performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia using secondary data from the annual financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2019-2023 period. Through multivariate analysis using SPSS version 25, the research results show that SIA implementation significantly influences financial performance, with the largest positive impact on Return on Equity (ROE). SIA contributes to increasing Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and profitability (PROF), indicating that SIA can increase the efficiency of asset use, equity profitability, and the company's profit ability. These findings provide important insights for manufacturing companies in utilizing information technology to improve their financial performance, as well as aligning with existing literature on the role of AIS in financial management.
