Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the current state of society's attraction to the quality of education, especially in relation to the introduction of autonomous learning. Descriptive qualitative research is the methodology used in this study, and data were collected through literature review, interviews, and observations. We can conclude that the implementation of autonomous learning can help to appreciate the importance of education quality in attracting public attention and fostering public trust in educational institutions. The main purpose of this autonomous learning policy is to offer suggestions for improving teaching standards in Indonesia, focusing on the curriculum, teaching force and learning outcomes. By integrating character values, raising teaching standards, and improving the learning environment, the Pancasila Student Project (P5) significantly improves the quality of education. P5 supports a holistic approach that combines academic achievement with the development of character and social skills, creating more engaging and quality schools. By involving all stakeholders and utilizing evaluation and feedback, P5 can continue to adapt and evolve, meeting the dynamic needs of education and supporting the formation of a better future generation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Forming students' religious character in the digital era is a very important and relevant issue in the world of elementary education, considering the rampant phenomenon of bullying cases, students abandoning the obligation to pray, lack of manners and morals. To overcome these problems, Kedungrawan 2 Sidoarjo Elementary School implemented the habituation of religious activities in an effort to form religious character. This study aims to describe the habituation of religious activities in forming religious character. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research.. The source of research data in this study was obtained by observation, documentation, and interview techniques with the principal, class teachers, and students. The research instrument used the researcher himself, interview guidelines, and other supporting devices including recording devices, cameras, and notebooks. The data analysis used is the Miles, Huberman and Saldana interactive model analysis which includes three elements of activity, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that the habituation of religious activities in forming students' religious character in the digital era is carried out by getting used to reading prayers, reading Juz Amma, and getting used to praying Dhuha in congregation. Abstract

Manners are a fundamental aspect in Islamic boarding school education that reflects the respect and discipline of students towards asatidz and asatidzah. However, the dynamics of the times and external influences can affect the behavior of students in interacting with educators. The shift in the values of student manners weakens the emotional bond between students and asatidz and asatidzah. Although it does not occur evenly, this phenomenon requires special attention in maintaining the traditional values of Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using the Kahoot application in improving student learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MA Darul Fiqri Sarirogo. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design, involving two classes: an experimental group of 30 students who learned with Kahoot and a control group of 10 students who continued with conventional methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure cognitive achievement. The findings revealed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with an average score of 8.950, where most students were categorized as Very Good. Meanwhile, the control group only achieved an average score of 8.350 with less consistent outcomes. Beyond cognitive gains, Kahoot also enhanced motivation, active participation, and created a more competitive and engaging classroom atmosphere. These results align with constructivist theory, which emphasizes active learner involvement. Thus, Kahoot is proven to be an effective and innovative medium, well-suited to the digital generation, for improving both the quality and outcomes of Aqidah Akhlak learning.

Abstract

Learning the Qur'an today employs various methods and approaches in practice. Teaching and learning activities in Islamic educational institutions are required to be dynamic and contextual. The Tilawati method of learning, as one of the methods for studying the Qur'an, is a learning method that must continue to be developed to align with the current era and educational trends. Additionally, implementing the Tilawati method in teaching and learning activities can create a child-friendly environment. The aim of this community service project is to study the implementation of the child-friendly Tilawati learning method at TPQ Al-Ikhlash Waru Sidoarjo and to develop a child-friendly learning concept based on children's character values. The community service approach utilizes a case study method. The subjects of the community service are the teachers (Asatidz and Asatidzah) and students (santri) of TPQ Al-Ikhlash Waru Sidoarjo. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is performed using descriptive analysis. Field findings indicate two categories related to the implementation of the child-friendly Tilawati method at TPQ Al-Ikhlash Waru: first, the concept of a child-friendly school involves inclusive learning, environmentally friendly learning, social education, and justice-based education; and second, Qur'anic learning that is relevant to the children's world.

Abstract

Primary school-aged children, who are at the concrete operational stage of cognitive development, need a good family environment to help their personality, intelligence and psychological growth. Children often experience violence, both verbal and physical, which can interfere with their mental, emotional and social development. The purpose of this research is to discover and study the different types of violence perpetrated by parents against primary school-aged children and its effects from an Islamic perspective.  This study uses phenomenological methodology as a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews and observations in Prasung village, Sidoarjo district. According to the results, around 20 children in the village experienced domestic violence. This violence has significant consequences, causing mental and emotional disturbances in children, such as anxiety and low self-confidence. Parents are also often unaware of the negative effects of their children's actions and still consider corporal punishment as a good way of discipline. In addition, this study emphasises the importance of applying Islamic values in parenting to stop violence and support compassionate education. This research provides an in-depth insight into child abuse. In addition, it is important for parents to be more aware of how their behaviour impacts their children's development. It is hoped that the findings will encourage more positive parenting that is based on humanitarian and religious values.

Abstract

Dokumen Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media YouTube dalam pembentukan karakter siswa pada pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MI Darussalam. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam bersama guru dan observasi langsung di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video edukatif seperti Nusa Rara mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, pemahaman materi, serta internalisasi nilai-nilai moral pada siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, jujur, dan bertanggung jawab setelah menonton video pembelajaran. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan akses internet dan kebutuhan seleksi konten yang relevan dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa YouTube dapat menjadi media efektif dalam pembentukan karakter siswa jika didukung oleh pemilihan konten yang tepat dan pendampingan guru yang optimal. Abstract

The advancement of technology in the modern era brings new challenges for the world of education, including the demand on educational institutions to prepare students to be independent and ready to face the dynamics of modern life. Life Skills education becomes an important solution in shaping individuals who are able to adapt and compete in the midst of a complex society. This research aims to identify the content of life skills material and describe the implementation of its learning at SDIT Nurul Fikri Sidoarjo, which applies a full day school-based education model. The research approach used is qualitative with descriptive analysis methods. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving 4th-grade students, homeroom teachers, and the school principal as the main informants. Life Skills learning at this school covers the development of personal, social, intellectual, and vocational skills. The implementation of learning is carried out through a curriculum that is integrated with the daily activities of students. The research findings indicate that planning is a crucial stage in the implementation of Life Skill learning, considering that this curriculum is a unique feature of the school, independently developed by an internal team. The implementation of the program aligns with the initial plans, with materials adapted to each grade level, and several Life Skill activities integrated with other subjects to optimize time efficiency. Evaluation is conducted directly during the activities and is followed up with take-home assignments documented through photos, videos, and parental verification. This approach aims to ensure that Life Skill competencies continue to be practiced and applied by students in their home environment.
