Abstract

Education can be achieved optimally if a learning process is carried out and given effectively and efficiently. The use of gadgets among students is a habit or a necessity to have, such as cellphones, tablets, and various other types of gadgets. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of gadgets and the learning motivation of students at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pasundan. This research is a quantitative research. The sample in this study were 138 students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pasundan. The sample technique used is nonprobability sampling. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the study show that the relationship between iPad use and learning motivation has a significant relationship with a significance value of >0.05. This is evidenced in the chi-square (χ2) calculation results with a probability value (p-value) that is 0.001 less than 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the use of iPAD and student learning motivation at the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Pasundan.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that often appears without symptoms. It is said to be hypertension if blood pressure is ≥ 140/90 mmHg. Objective: This study aims to determine the factors that contribute to the incidence of hypertension in prolanis participants in the Sindangkerta health center working area, Cianjur Regency. The method in this research is quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all prolanis participants at the Sindangkerta Community Health Center, Cianjur Regency. Data collection in this study used primary data through questionnaires and secondary data through data on prolanis participants in the Sindangkerta health center working area, Cianjur Regency, identity card, data on diagnosed hypertension and HbA1c examination data on prolanis patients. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a degree of significance (α) = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the variables age (p = 0.011), gender (p = 0.001), family history of hypertension (p = 0.015), nutritional status (BMI) (p = <0.001), smoking history ( p = 0.039), physical activity (p = 0.015), history of alcohol consumption (p = 0.010), high salt diet (p = 0.022) and history of diabetes mellitus (p = 0.001) with the incidence of hypertension in chronic disease management program participants (prolanis) in the working area of the Sindangkerta Community Health Center, Cianjur Regency.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Anemia merupakan suatu masalah Kesehatan yang masih berada di Indonesia. Prevalensi anemia di Jawa Barat menunjukkan sebesar 41,8%.1 Data profil kesehatan Kota Bandung tahun 2021 juga menunjukkan bahwa anemia termasuk ke 19 dari 20 besar penyebab kematian yang tercatat dan dilaporkan oleh puskesmas. Mayoritas penduduk Indonesia bekerja di sektor informal yakni sebesar 59,97%, dimana sektor informal biasanya bekerja sendiri dengan upah tidak tetap tergantung pemasaran. Pengrajin adalah salah satu sektor informal di Cibaduyut sebagai home industry alas kaki. Pandemi Covid-19 berpengaruh terhadap penjualan sepatu, akibatnya upah sangat sedikit dan tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan asupan gizi yang cukup sehingga dapat terjadinya anemia. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui prevalensi anemia pada pekerja informal pengrajin sepatu di Cibaduyut Bandung tahun 2023. Data penelitian menggunakan data primer yang diambil pada tanggal 14 Oktober - 23 November 2023. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study. Besar sampel ditentukan dengan rumus slovin. Sedangkan pengambilan sampel dengan metoda non-probalility.  Hasil: Didapatkan 298 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dengan responden yang mengalami anemia 27 orang. Sebanyak 20,0% adalah perempuan, 14,3% adalah lansia, 16,7% dengan status duda/janda, 12,4% dengan status gizi normal. Prevalensi anemia pada pekerja informal pengrajin sepatu di Cibaduyut Bandung tahun 2023 sebesar 9,1%, menurut WHO (2011) termasuk ke dalam kategori ringan (5,0% - 19,9%). Simpulan: Prevalensi anemia masih terlihat pada pekerja pengrajin sepatu di Cibaduyut.
