Abstract

In this research, the implementation of the A star algorithm is used to find efficient routes, reduce the travel time, and optimize the use of existing road infrastructure at waypoints. The A star algorithm uses the concept of Open List and Close List, which helps to reduce the number of rechecks on the points travelled, thus speeding up the search process. The A star algorithm stops when there are no more points on the open list or when the end point has been determined. This research method uses primary data, which consists of five street locations in Palangka Raya city, as nodes and combines the distance between the street points. The implemented program uses the A Star algorithm to calculate the shortest route and displays the path along with the distance. The purpose of this research is to achieve the shortest route and calculate the distance travelled for the waypoints. Keywords: shortest route, A* algorithm, waypoint.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi internet telah memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk sektor kesehatan. Website menjadi sarana yang efektif untuk menyebarluaskan informasi dari organisasi, lembaga kesehatan, maupun instansi pemerintah. Puskesmas Kasongan, yang berperan sebagai pusat layanan kesehatan di Kecamatan Katingan Hilir, Kabupaten Katingan, saat ini tengah mengalami perkembangan seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah pasien. Oleh karena itu, keberadaan puskesmas sangat penting bagi masyarakat sebagai sumber informasi mengenai berbagai kegiatan dan jadwal layanan. Namun, masyarakat masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengakses informasi terbaru terkait jadwal layanan Puskesmas Kasongan. Penyampaian informasi yang kurang efisien dan efektif menjadi hambatan bagi Puskesmas dalam meningkatkan visibilitas dan dikenal lebih luas oleh masyarakat. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, dikembangkanlah sebuah sistem berupa “Rancang Bangun Website Profil Puskesmas Kasongan Kecamatan Katingan Hilir” yang diharapkan dapat menyajikan informasi dan berita terkait Puskesmas Kasongan secara lebih luas dan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat. Metodologi pengembangan perangkat lunak waterfall digunakan untuk merancang dan membangun website ini. Ini menggunakan bahasa PHP, HTML, dan JavaScript, serta MySQL sebagai databasenya..
