Abstract

Poverty is one of the fundamental problems that is the center of attention of governments in any country. In almost all developing countries, the living standards of the majority of the population tend to be very low, not only when compared with the living standards of people in rich countries, but also with those of the elite in their own countries. This low standard of living is manifested in the form of very low levels of income or poverty (Todaro, 2006). Economic growth is believed to have a significant influence on reducing the amount of poverty. However, this influence may differ from one country to another. The state of income distribution, population, and urbanization have an important relationship in determining the influence that occurs between economic growth and reducing the amount of poverty (Hasan and Quibria, 2002).

Abstract

Oligopoly is a form of market structure where there are a few producers or dominate the market for a particular product or service. In an oligopoly, there are a few large companies that control most of the supply of goods or services, thus having the ability to influence prices and control competition. In an oligopoly market, each company will position itself as part of the market game. This certainly needs to be done because the profits they get are very dependent on their competing companies. Every policy taken by one company will greatly influence other companies so that competition will become increasingly fierce in terms of price and quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of digital marketing and brand awareness on consumer purchase intention toward the Subeng Klasik product. A quantitative approach was employed using a questionnaire distributed to respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both digital marketing and brand awareness have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention when tested partially. However, brand awareness exerts a greater influence than digital marketing. Simultaneously, both variables also significantly and positively affect purchase intention. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk's stock as an investment instrument on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research method employed is a literature review, examining the company’s 2023 financial statements, stock trading dynamics, and the impact of macroeconomic factors such as exchange rates, inflation, and GDP growth. Additionally, the single index model is applied to assess ESSA’s position within an optimal investment portfolio. The findings reveal that ESSA demonstrates stable financial performance, a healthy capital structure, and promising growth prospects in the energy and chemical sectors. Nevertheless, stock price volatility due to global commodity price fluctuations and economic conditions remains a critical concern for investors. Considering its potential returns and manageable risk level, ESSA’s stock is considered a viable component in a diversified investment portfolio.
