Abstract

This study aims to project the number and pyramid of population and employment conditions of Kupang City in facing the demographic bonus in 2025-2030. Population projection is done using the spectrum application and employment conditions are seen based on the availability and absorption of labor. The results showed that there was an increase in population in Kupang during 2025-2030 with a stationary population pyramid. The demographic bonus experienced by Kupang City has an impact on existing labor conditions, namely the availability of a potential workforce. However, unemployment remains a concern for the Kupang government. The existing business sectors in Kupang City in 2025-2030 are not able to keep up with the availability of labor, leading to high unemployment in 2025-2030.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of accessibility and facilities on traders' income at Pada Lewoleba Market. This research is quantitative research with the data used obtained from the results of a questionnaire distributed to 75 respondents. The analytical method used is instrument testing and multiple linear regression which is processed using Eviews 12 software. The results of this study show that partially the accessibility variable influences the income of traders in the market on Lewoleba and the facility variable influences the income of traders in the market on Lewoleba, this is due to renovations carried out in stages by the Lembata Regency Regional Government which are continuously being improved. Simultaneously, the variables of accessibility and facilities influence the income of traders in the market on Lewoleba

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of health insurance and micro-credit in overcoming the impact of health shocks on household consumption in Kupang City. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with BPJS Kesehatan, Obor Mas Savings and Loans Cooperative, and beneficiary communities. The results of the study indicate that health insurance significantly reduces the financial burden due to health problems, while micro-credit provides alternative financing solutions that maintain the stability of household consumption. These findings emphasize the importance of synergy between health insurance and microfinance access to improve household economic resilience in facing health risks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Program Bantuan Pembangunan Rumah Mandiri (BPRM) Pro Oli Mila bagi masyarakat berpendapatan rendah di Desa Dameka, Kecamatan Katikutana Selatan, Kabupaten Sumba Tengah. Latar belakang penelitian adalah masih banyaknya rumah tidak layak huni sementara jumlah bantuan sangat terbatas. Dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa program telah membantu sebagian masyarakat, namun belum mampu menjawab kebutuhan secara menyeluruh karena keterbatasan alokasi bantuan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi pemerintah dalam meningkatkan efektivitas program perumahan.
