Abstract

World progress is felt in various aspects and is very dominant in the field of technology, the development of digitalization makes the world without borders because it reaches every group in all corners of the world. Various applications are offered to make friends through this virtual world and the one that is very popular at the moment is Facebook. Facebook accounts have become popular among people because apart from the interesting features, Facebook can easily access friends without having to meet physically. The development of technological advances is considered good because it helps facilitate the movement of the world in seeking information and obtaining knowledge that supports needs in work, education and entertainment. Because the influence of technology reaches all aspects and influences the way today's users think and act, the impact of this change cannot be separated from the Church's anxiety about the development of the faith of its people. This article will explain the integrity of journalists which has developed in line with advances in digitalization. The author focused his presentation on using a Facebook account for catechesis.

Abstract

Catholicism plays an important role in shaping children's faith character, which aims to regulate children's identity and morals in accordance with Christian teachings. This research takes the example of daily prayer practices at the St. Mikhael Ohoilim Station, where the researcher directly saw the lack of teaching and training in daily prayers at the station and its influence on the formation of children's faith character. The research method used is qualitative where data is collected through observation. This research was carried out while carrying out an internship or KKN for approximately six months starting from January to June at the Station in accordance with the rules made by a particular institution or campus. The research results show that daily prayers not only function as a means of communication with God, but also as an effective educational tool in forming religious values, discipline and a sense of responsibility in children.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the meaning of work in the context of the Church's social teachings, with a focus on the perspective of the encyclical Laborem Exercens.The background to this research is rooted in the importance of understanding work as an integral part of human life and Church teachings. The method used is qualitative analysis of the encyclical, which includes text study and interpretation of meaning. The findings show that work is seen as a deep calling, where each individual contributes to the creation and well-being of society. In addition, this encyclical emphasizes the values ​​of justice, solidarity and human dignity in the world of work. The implication of this research is the need to reaffirm the importance of work ethics based on Church teachings, as well as encouragement to create a more just and humane work environment. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for stakeholders in formulating policies that support the principles of the Church's social teachings in daily work practices.
