Abstract

Learning as a business process carried out by someone to obtain a new behavior change as a whole. The teacher's ability to use instructional media aims to make students active and easy to absorb material. Learning activities do not always run straight, there are several obstacles that make students experience difficulties in the learning process, including social studies learning at Darul Ulum Budi Agung Private MTs, Medan City. This study aims to find out about the factors that influence social studies learning difficulties by using qualitative research methods. In the research results obtained, there are two influencing factors, namely internal factors which come from students' learning interests, the effectiveness of the teacher in making the learning process interesting, and external factors in the form of coming from the role of parents in controlling student learning at home. Abstract

Studying is someone's effort to change behavior as a whole. The teacher's ability to use learning media aims to make students active and easily absorb the material. The learning process is not always smooth, there are several obstacles that make students often experience difficulties, including in learning Social Studies at Darul Ulum Budi Agung Private MTs, Medan City. This study aims to determine the factors that affect students' difficulties in learning Social Studies with a qualitative research method. The results show that there are two factors that influence, namely internal factors such as students' interest in learning and the effectiveness of teachers in making the learning process interesting, as well as external factors such as the role of parents in controlling students' learning at home.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis seberapa pengaruh pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTS Al-Ikhlas PTPN III Membang Muda Terhadap kecerdasan siswa dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang mudah dan menarik pada kegiatan pembelajaran dikarenakan siswa salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mempermudah siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran bahwa siswa sangat berpengaruh dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, dari hasil penelitian ini kita bisa melihat dan membuktikan bahwasannya seberapa pengaruh pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTS Al-Ikhlas PTPN III Membang Muda terhadap kecerdasan dalam pembelajaran mind mapping.
