Abstract

Adanya dampak dari Pandemi Covid-19, dibutuhkan upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan mengurangi tingkat kemiskinan.  Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemberdayaan masyarakat terutama untuk masyarakat pada usia produktif. Desa Cikarawang, Kecamatan Dramaga, Kabupaten Bogor hanya berjarak kurang lebih 44 kilometer dari kampus C Universitas Jayabaya. Dari data yang dihimpun di desa cikarawang masuk daerah perladangan dan sumber utama pendapatan desa tersebut adalah petani. Di Cikarawang terdapat kelompok tani yaitu Pendawa Tani yang terdiri dari para anak muda yang mengelola greenhouse. PkM ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi greenhouse sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil panen. Dari kegiatan PkM ini didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan, peningkatan hasil panen, dan terdapat alat monitoring greenhouse.

Abstract

STIKOM Tunas Bangsa is one of the best private universities in the city of Pematangsiantar. With so many universities in the city of Pematangsiantar, it certainly creates competition in attracting prospective new students. In order to maintain the number of students each year, universities must know what factors are the main drivers for prospective students to continue their studies at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. The aim of this research is to determine the main factors for high school/vocational school graduate students in continuing their studies at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. Data was obtained from questionnaires which were then processed using data mining with the C4.5 algorithm and tested with Rapid Miner software. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are six (6) patterns produced in cases of interest in prospective students who will study at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa, where three (3) of these rules result in interest decisions and three (3) rules result in no interest decisions. One of the resulting rules is if Recommendation = Never, and Suitability of Department = Appropriate, then the result is Interest. Recommendations from local people are the main supporting factor for high school/vocational school graduate students to continue studying at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of a web-based attendance system that utilizes QR scanner technology to record individual attendance, especially in an educational environment. The report also highlights the primary benefits of this approach, such as process efficiency, data accuracy, and real-time information access. The web-based attendance system using QR scanner technology not only enhances administrative effectiveness but also provides a more modern and interactive experience for individuals who need to be accounted for. This helps reduce the risk of errors in manual attendance recording and provides faster and more accurate access to attendance data. In this research, the author used various methods to collect data, including observation and a literature review. The author relied on various online documentation sources as data references for this report. The documents used by the author included several Scopus-indexed journals, e-books, and various digital news pages from the past 5 years. For the development method of this website, the author employed the Agile methodology. Agile is one of the models of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The results of this research, which combine QR codes and web access, make this attendance system a relevant and innovative solution for efficient attendance management.
