Abstract

Abstract This research was carried out against the background of teachers' pedagogical and professional competence in implementing Islamic Religious Education learning strategies which include the subjects Al-Qur'an Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, and History of Islamic Culture at the State Madrasah Tsanawiyah Siak Regency. This research aims to determine pedagogical competence and professional competence in determining and implementing learning strategies, strengthening the use of learning strategies and to find out ideal learning strategies and new learning strategies that can be applied to Islamic Religious Education at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach, and uses interviews, observation and documentation as data collection techniques. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Siak, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Siak, and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Siak. The results of the research are that teachers with pedagogical and professional competence have not yet determined learning strategies in preparing Learning Implementation Plans, teachers with high and very high pedagogical competence, quite high professional competence have implemented expository, inquiry, contextual learning strategies and independent learning strategies. However, it has not been maximized in utilizing strategies and methods according to teaching materials. The ideal learning strategy used in the learning process of Islamic religious education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency is expository and inquiry learning strategies according to the teacher's pedagogical and professional competence, and new learning strategies that can be applied. in learning Islamic religious education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency is a muhadharah learning strategy which is a habituation activity and is able to contribute to student learning outcomes covering the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Keywords: Teacher Competencies, Learning Strategies, PAI Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang meliputi mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits, Akidah Akhlak, Fiqih, dan Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi professional dalam penetapan dan penerapan strategi pembelajaran, penguatan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran dan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran ideal dan strategi pembelajaran baru yang dapat diterapkan pada Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, serta menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Siak, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Siak, dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Siak. Hasil penelitian yaitu guru dengan kompetensi pedagogik dan professional yang dimiliki belum menetapkan strategi pembelajaran dalam penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, guru dengan kompetensi pedagogik yang tinggi dan sangat tinggi, kompetensi prosfesional yang cukup tinggi telah menerapkan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, inkuiri, kontekstual, dan strategi pembelajaran mandiri, namun belum maksimal dalam memanfaatkan strategi dan metode sesuai materi ajar, strategi pembelajaran yang ideal digunakan pada proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak adalah strategi pembelajaran ekspositori dan inkuiri sesuai kompetensi pedagogik dan professional guru, dan strategi pembelajaran baru yang dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak adalah strategi pembelajaran muhadharah yang merupakan kegiatan pembiasaan dan mampu berkontribusi pada hasil belajar peserta didik meliputi ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Guru, Strategi Pembelajaran, PAI.

Abstract

The construction in this study is in order to explore the usefulness of applying the scientific system learning in PAI learning at the Riau Taxation Vocational School. The method used is a research experiment with a study subject of PAI teachers totaling 1 person. With the conclusion of the research, namely: 1) the scientific approach in PAI learning has a significant impact on the learning process through five elements namely: (1) observing, (2) asking, (3) experimenting (4) association and (5) reasoning. This is illustrated by the findings that PAI teachers are able to provide learning by attracting students' attention, high motivation from students, being able to provide references and mapping PAI discussions. 2) PAI teachers are able to bring up critical learning as a scientific form. The research findings were confirmed through John Dewey's theory which put forward the following: 1) positing problems, 2) clarifying issues, 3) looking at the possible answers of students together with educators looking for possibilities that will be implemented in problem solving, 4) try out the possibilities that are considered profitable, 5) assessment. From these objectives it can be concluded that several dimensions are to be improved and addressed by learning activities of Islamic religious education, namely: a) Dimensions of students' faith in Islamic teachings. b) The dimensions of understanding or reasoning (intellectual) as well as students' knowledge of Islamic teachings. c) The dimension of appreciation or inner experience felt by students in carrying out Islamic teachings

Abstract

Radicalization has become a serious threat in the world of education, especially among students who are in the developing stage of self-identity search, where curiosity and emotional instability make them vulnerable to the influence of radical ideology. Religious education, in this context, plays a central role in shaping students' character by instilling values of moderation, tolerance, and respect for diversity. This study aims to explore the role of religious education in preventing radicalization, using a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth observation and interviews involving teachers, students, principals, and parents. The focus of the research is on the implementation of religious moderation values in schools as an effort to build students' critical attitudes towards extremist ideologies. The results of the study show that inclusive, interactive, and collaborative teaching approaches in religious education, both in the classroom and by involving the external community, play an important role in fostering tolerant characters and being able to reject radical narratives. The study highlights the importance of collaboration between schools and families, as well as the need for digital literacy education to strengthen students' resilience to exposure to extremist content on social media. The implications of this study include the need to integrate materials relevant to actual issues in the religious education curriculum, as well as the development of community-based educational programs that involve families and communities as additional bulwarks of protection for students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze various innovations in effective and enjoyable learning models that have been implemented in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), in order to improve the quality of basic education in accordance with the characteristics of early age learners. The method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which allows researchers to filter, evaluate, and synthesize previous research results systematically and in a structured manner from various credible academic sources. This approach involves the stages of literature search, selection based on strict criteria, and thematic analysis of innovative learning models. The results of the study indicate that learning in MI requires an approach that is able to combine Islamic values ​​with active and contextual learning methods. One model that has proven effective is Project-Based Learning (PjBL), which can increase student engagement, conceptual understanding, and the development of 21st century skills. In addition, the integration of technology in learning also provides positive potential in creating interactive learning experiences, although it still faces technical and resource constraints. The principles of enjoyable learning such as differentiation, active learning, and emotional involvement are the keys to the successful implementation of this innovation. These findings are expected to be the basis for developing learning practices that are more relevant, effective, and appropriate to the socio-cultural context of MI.
