Abstract

King Mohammed VI bestowed special emphasis upon Morocco, a country with a population of 30 million people and a Muslim majority of 99%. In 1999, Moroccan students’ performance in mathematics and science fell below the global average. The education system in Morocco is perceived as being unresponsive to the demands of the labour market, prompting the implementation of the National Education Emergency Support Programme in 2009. This study aims to examine the educational policies established by the Moroccan government. This research involves conducting a literature review, specifically employing content analysis tools. Research findings indicate that the majority of Islamic schools or madrasas in Morocco are predominantly overseen by autonomous or privately-owned organisations. The government’s involvement is necessary to promote the development of these schools in alignment with the requirements of the labour market, particularly in the realm of science.

Abstract

Abstract This research was carried out against the background of teachers' pedagogical and professional competence in implementing Islamic Religious Education learning strategies which include the subjects Al-Qur'an Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, and History of Islamic Culture at the State Madrasah Tsanawiyah Siak Regency. This research aims to determine pedagogical competence and professional competence in determining and implementing learning strategies, strengthening the use of learning strategies and to find out ideal learning strategies and new learning strategies that can be applied to Islamic Religious Education at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach, and uses interviews, observation and documentation as data collection techniques. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Siak, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Siak, and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Siak. The results of the research are that teachers with pedagogical and professional competence have not yet determined learning strategies in preparing Learning Implementation Plans, teachers with high and very high pedagogical competence, quite high professional competence have implemented expository, inquiry, contextual learning strategies and independent learning strategies. However, it has not been maximized in utilizing strategies and methods according to teaching materials. The ideal learning strategy used in the learning process of Islamic religious education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency is expository and inquiry learning strategies according to the teacher's pedagogical and professional competence, and new learning strategies that can be applied. in learning Islamic religious education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency is a muhadharah learning strategy which is a habituation activity and is able to contribute to student learning outcomes covering the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Keywords: Teacher Competencies, Learning Strategies, PAI Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang meliputi mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits, Akidah Akhlak, Fiqih, dan Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi professional dalam penetapan dan penerapan strategi pembelajaran, penguatan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran dan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran ideal dan strategi pembelajaran baru yang dapat diterapkan pada Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, serta menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Siak, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Siak, dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Siak. Hasil penelitian yaitu guru dengan kompetensi pedagogik dan professional yang dimiliki belum menetapkan strategi pembelajaran dalam penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, guru dengan kompetensi pedagogik yang tinggi dan sangat tinggi, kompetensi prosfesional yang cukup tinggi telah menerapkan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, inkuiri, kontekstual, dan strategi pembelajaran mandiri, namun belum maksimal dalam memanfaatkan strategi dan metode sesuai materi ajar, strategi pembelajaran yang ideal digunakan pada proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak adalah strategi pembelajaran ekspositori dan inkuiri sesuai kompetensi pedagogik dan professional guru, dan strategi pembelajaran baru yang dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak adalah strategi pembelajaran muhadharah yang merupakan kegiatan pembiasaan dan mampu berkontribusi pada hasil belajar peserta didik meliputi ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Abstract

 Today, the debate over the integration of Islamic religious education and science in Indonesia's public schools and universities continues. They frequently navigated their own paths, ignoring each other's presence. This research attempts to identify the constraints and solutions to the integration of Islamic religious education and science in these institutions. The study employed a non-interactive qualitative approach, utilizing content analysis to examine various emerging issues found in books, documents, journals, and other articles. The study's findings revealed several obstacles to the integration of Islamic religious education and science in schools and tertiary institutions, such as the lack of relevant integration formulations, the absence of integration regulations, the scarcity of human resources, the division between religious and general material hours, and the lack of comprehensive teaching materials. Therefore, we can offer the following solutions: (1) formulating curriculum integration relevant to the Indonesian context; (2) establishing regulations or revising the National Education System Law; (3) fostering collaboration between PTU and PTAI; (4) preparing human resources in the form of focused and creative teachers; (5) reconstructing relevant teaching materials; and (6) providing adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Abstract Riau Islamic University was established in 1962 with the main objective of integrating Islamic values ​​in the implementation of higher education. Since its inception, UIR has been committed to eliminating the dichotomy between general knowledge and religious knowledge, as well as overcoming the secularization of knowledge. This study aims to develop an educational model based on the integration of knowledge and Islam at Riau Islamic University. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) or R & D which uses the ADDIE model. The results of this study are First, the concept of integrating Islam and knowledge has existed since the establishment of this campus. Several educational values ​​that can be integrated into knowledge are spread across various courses, including: (1) Morals, described as 6 values: Sincerity, Honesty, Trustworthiness, Kindness, Togetherness, and Justice. (2) Knowledge, described as 2 values: Intelligence and Hard work. (3) Charity, described as the value of preaching. Second, the Education Model based on "ISI (Integration of Science and Islam)" offers how to integrate science with Islam or vice versa. This can be done first by using Nash/text in the form of Verses or Hadith, namely conveying learning of study materials/science materials by explaining verses of the Qur'an or Hadith that are relevant to the science theory being taught. Second, using an analysis model that is Imani or Syar`i, namely conveying learning of science materials by explaining aspects of faith or sharia contained or relevant to science materials. Abstrak Universitas Islam Riau didirikan pada tahun 1962 dengan tujuan utama mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan tinggi. Sejak awal berdirinya, UIR berkomitmen untuk menghilangkan dikotomi antara ilmu pengetahuan umum dan ilmu agama, serta menanggulangi sekularisasi ilmu pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan berbasis integrasi ilmu dan Islam di Universitas Islam Riau. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Devlopment) atau R & D yang menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Pertama, konsep integrasi Islam dan ilmu sudah ada sejak berdirinya kampus ini. Beberapa nilai Pendidikan yang bisa di integrasi dalam ilmu pengetahuan tersebar dalam berbagai mata kuliah diantranya: (1)Berakhlak, dijabarkan menjadi 6 nilai: Keikhlasan, Kejujuran, Amanah, Kebaikan, Kebersamaan, dan Keadilan. (2) Berilmu, dijabarkan menjadi 2 nilai: Kecerdasan dan Kerja keras. (3) Beramal, dijabarkan menjadi nilai dakwah. Kedua, Model Pendidikan berbasis “ISI (Integration of Science and Islam)” ini menawarkan bagaimana cara mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan dengan Islam atau sebaliknya. Hal ini bisa di lakukan pertama dengan menggunakan Nash/teks berupa Ayat atau Hadis, yaitu menyampaikan pembelajaran bahan kajian/materi sains dengan menjelaskan ayat Al-Quran atau Hadis yang relevan dengan teori sains yang diajarkan. Kedua, menggunakan model analisis yang bersifat Imani atau Syar`i, yaitu menyampaikan pembelajaran materi sains dengan menjelaskan aspek akidah atau syari`ah yang terkandung atau relevan dengan materi sains.
