Abstract

Human rights (HAM) are rights that belong to everyone who lives in a humane environment. Human rights are always seen as essential, important, and basic. Human rights evolved in the 17th and 18th centuries as a response to the ultimate absoluteness of the kings and feudal lords of the time toward the people they ruled or exploited, mainly the lower classes of society. Human rights are also found in Islam, which has been codified in the Shari'ah since the Prophet Muhammad's revelation. Human rights are in conformity with Allah SWT's rights, according to the Qur'an's interpretation of Islam. The approach utilized to write this research is normative juridical, with the goal of describing, comprehending, and explaining the object under study based on data gathered from library data on talks that focus on human rights issues from the perspective of Islam. There are various rights for humans to be upheld under the concepts of human rights in the Qur'an, and if they are not, it is deemed a violation of human rights, even if the fulfillment of one's human rights is still limited by the human rights of others.
