Abstract

The environment is a place where there is a reciprocal process with each other and with society where a complex system occurs. In the environment there are all humans, animals, and plants or objects made by humans themselves. Both biotic and abiotic things. The environment is a place where all natural events can develop. From the environment we can get the values of life. However, not all values contained in the environment have a positive influence, they can also have a negative influence. In the world of education the role of the environment is very large. The environment is the place where the educational process is first recognized by students. The family environment is the environment that is first recognized by students, then students get to know the school environment and also the community environment. In the world of environmental education plays a role in shaping the personality of students. In the process of forming the personality of students, the social environment and the natural environment play an important role. Problems that arise in the environment cannot be ignored by anyone, especially parents, teachers or educators in general. The environment is a place for students to develop themselves and form their own character through various activities held both in the family environment, school environment and community environment. Therefore, parents, teachers and other educators must be selective in determining the environment as a means of self-development of students. Lingkungan adalah tempat dimana terjadinya proses timbal-balik satu sama lain dan dengan masyarakat dimana disitu terjadi suatu system yang kompleks. Di lingkungan semuanya ada baik manusia,hewan,maupun tumbuhan atau benda yang dibuat oleh manusia itu sendiri. Baik benda biotik maupun abiotik. Lingkungan adalah tempat dimana semua kejadian alam bisa berkembang. Dari lingkungan kita bisa mendapat nilai nilai kehidupan. Akan tetapi tidak semua nilai nilai yang terkandung di lingkungan memberi pengaruh positif bisa juga memberikan pengaruh negative. Didalam dunia Pendidikan peran lingkungan sangatlah besar. Lingkungan adalah tempat dimana proses Pendidikan pertama kali dikenal oleh peserta didik. Lingkungan keluarga adalah lingkungan yang pertama kali dikenal oleh peserta didik,kemudian peserta didik mengenal lingkungan sekolah dan juga lingkungan masyarakat. Dalam dunia Pendidikan lingkungan berperan dalam membentuk kepribadian peserta didik. Didalam proses pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik lingkungan sosial dan lingkungan alam sangatlah berperan penting. Masalah yang timbul dalam lingkungan tidak bisa di abaikan oleh siapa pun,khususnya bagi orang tua, guru, atau pendidik pada umumnya. Lingkungan adalah wadah bagi peserta didik untuk mengembangkan diri dan membentuk karakter diri melalui berbagai kegiatan yang diadakan baik dilingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah maupun lingkungan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu orang tua,guru,maupun pendidik lainnya harus bisa selektif dalam menentukan lingkungan sebagai sarana dalam pengembangan diri peserta didik.

Abstract

There are three focuses on this study, namely: 1) What is the attitude of the independence of the santri in al-Washoya Islamic boarding school, 2) What is the management system of Islamic boarding schools in al-Washoya Islamic Boarding School, and 3) What are the supporting factors and constraints on the pesantren management system independence of santri in al-Washoya Islamic boarding school. This research is included in qualitative research. This research was conducted in the Al-Washoya Ngoro Jombang Islamic boarding school, using a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Based on the results of the study: 1) informing self-reliance on santri, the students were taught various skills such as in the field of fashion, cooking, and entrepreneurship from these activities. It was hoped that the santri would be able to live independently without relying on others. 2) the management system is centered on caregivers and is assisted by clerics and administrators, all activities that have been designed can work well, because of good cooperation between the various parties incorporated in them. And the support and motivation that makes the students enthusiastic to become better people and can live independently. 3) The supporting factors are motivation, support, and assistance from caregivers, clerics, and administrators in assisting students to implement each activity and facilities provided. The inhibiting factor is the limited time due to the many activities that exist, besides that, it is also difficult for the new santri to adapt to the environment and with the activities in the Islamic boarding school.
