Abstract

The purpose of this study is to dig deeply by doing identification of various local products; develop local product development strategies; and explain the advantages and disadvantages of local products in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. The research was conducted qualitatively, data were obtained from: literature study; field data, through: in-depth interview (indeptinterview), observation, and documentation. The results of the study: 1) Local products in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone are identified, among others: goods/production products, namely culinary, processing products, such as shrimp paste and chips. 2) Local product development strategy in Mandalika Special Economic Zone: promoting through print and online media, developing products that have appeal, cooperation with sthakeholders, provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, local product development (goods/processing) can implement the marketing strategy. 3) Advantages: have a positive impact on the economic conditions of the community/SMEs; the price is relatively affordable for consumer; the existence of district government regulations, village regulations, local regulations (awiq-awiq). Weaknesses: visitors in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone who rame not every time/day; the raw materials are limited; poor business management; promotion/marketing of local products is still lacking; business capital is relatively small; and lack of counseling and field guidance by relevant agencies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of SMEs product in the food industry which are widely spread in Mataram City. The focus of the research is on tempeh product which are one of the leading products in the city. In addition to analyzing the quality of tempeh products, this study also analyzes aspect of quality of this product from an Islamic economic perspective. In determining respondents as data sources in this study, researchers used purposive sampling techniques. To answer the problem posed, the analysis tool used is the Ideal-Point Model, which is a consumer evaluation of what is perceived with what is desired. This model measures the difference between what is perceived and what consumers want. The result shows that the product quality of SME tempeh is very good. This is indicated by the quality value being at the upper interval class which means that the quality of the tempeh product is in accordance with the wishes of consumers. Based on the Islamic view, respondents have the perception of tempeh products as products with halal ingredients, a good process, and are a valuable offer and useful.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini ditujukan bagi pelaku usaha gula aren Medas Taman Sari Lombok Barat, agar mereka dapat mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam hal mengelola kegiatan produksi dan mengelola proses produksinya. Penyampaian materi dalam kegiatan ini dengan memberikan materi dalam bentuk penyuluhan pentingnya manajemen produksi. Selain itu, penyampaian materi juga dilengkapi dengan diskusi. Kegiatan dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2025 dengan metode penyuluhan, tanya jawab, dan diskusi. Jumlah peserta kegiatan adalah 20 orang yang terdiri dari pelaku usaha gula aren, di Medas Desa Taman Sari. Proses kegiatan berlangsung lancar dan kondusif, materi penyuluhan relevan dengan masalah dan kebutuhan saat ini. Banyak muncul pertanyaan ataupun persoalan yang diajukan peserta, yang kadang-kadang dijawab oleh peserta lainnya, sehingga proses kegiatan ini menjadi sangat partisipatif. Kegiatan seperti ini perlu dilanjutkan di masa datang untuk membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam mengelola usahanya
