Abstract

The role of Islamic educational institutions in the modern era is pivotal, acting as a bridge between tradition and innovation. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study sheds light on the strategic significance of these institutions in integrating technological advancements while preserving traditional Islamic teaching methodologies. Embracing e-learning platforms, digital applications, and social media, these institutions have facilitated remote learning, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they also uphold traditional methods like halaqah and talaqqi, which foster deep and personal learning environments. Furthermore, the curriculum has evolved to incorporate modern sciences alongside religious studies, aiming to produce graduates equipped with both religious knowledge and relevant skills for the contemporary job market. Additionally, Islamic educational institutions address contemporary social issues such as radicalism and social injustice, fostering a holistic approach to education. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous professional development for educators, active community involvement, and dynamic curriculum evaluation to ensure relevance and effectiveness in preparing students for the challenges of the modern world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Sparkol Videoscribe guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan desimal pada peserta didik kelas IV SD. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahapan Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Pada tahap analisis, diperoleh bahwa peserta didik mengalami kesulitan memahami bilangan desimal karena materi bersifat abstrak dan kurang didukung media visual. Media dikembangkan dalam bentuk video animasi interaktif bertema misi rahasia, dilengkapi ilustrasi, narasi, dan aktivitas kontekstual. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, media, dan bahasa, serta guru kelas, dengan hasil persentase kelayakan berkisar antara 86% hingga 94% dan dikategorikan sangat layak. Implementasi dilakukan melalui uji coba terbatas terhadap peserta didik kelas IV, dengan hasil rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 57,50 dan post-test sebesar 92,92. Perolehan skor N-Gain sebesar 84,76% menunjukkan bahwa media sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan desimal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media Sparkol Videoscribe layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran matematika yang menarik, kontekstual, dan interaktif di sekolah dasar.
