Abstract

Pendidikan karakter menjadi diskursus yang terus menjadi pembahasan dan diskusi dalam dunia pendidikan hari ini, terutama dalam regional Negara kita Indonesia degradasi moral yang marak terjadi dalam kehidupan sosial, yang berdampak kepada kemunduran bangsa di berbagai arah. Maka daripada itu, pendidikan karakter sangat penting untuk dilakukan, terutama dengan tuntunan Rasulullah melalui kitab Zaadul Maad yang ditulis oleh Ibnu Qayyim Al-Jauziyah. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan secara langsung (offline) dengan peserta santri dan guru di SMP-SMA Saintek Uhamka Boarding School Jonggol. Metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan praktek adalah cara yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini, mayoritas santri telah memahami dan mempraktekkan adab makan minum dan tidur sesuai dengan pedoman Rasulullah

Abstract

Learning methods are an essential component in the implementation of learning in schools. The learning method is a way of conveying a theory or idea to facilitate the process of managing the theory so as to produce a complete understanding and mastery of the subject. If the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning methods is appropriate, it will have an impact on increasing the values ​​of religiosity, spirituality and academic achievement. . The purpose of this study was to observe the implementation of the learning method for Islamic Religious Education subjects at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Middle School at Kampung Sawah. This research is a qualitative research using observation and interview methods. The results of the study showed that the Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School Kampung Sawah still use lecturing and question-and-answer method, nevertheless for Arabic subjects, the method used is talqin method (Delivering). The teachers also did not make RPP (Learning Implementation Plans) because they did not know how to make it and were also not asked by the school. In learning, teachers prioritize close relationships with students compared to determining learning methods.

Abstract

Abstrak Ilmu pengetahuan barat modern, yang merupakan komponen utama penunjang tumbuhnya modernitas bagi kehidupan manusia saat ini, telah kehilangan acuan transendentalnya. Lenyapnya referensi karena pemisahan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan agama. Salah satu tokoh Islam yang telah lama membangun spirit semangat Islam dan jagat intelektual serta mengembalikan Islam ke kancah peradaban dunia adalah Syed Hossein Nasr, salah satu intelektual terkemuka dalam wacana ilmu dan hubungan agama, terutama di dunia Islam. Pemikiran-pemikran Nasr tentang sains itu sendiri dan perkembangan grand naratif yang hari ini sedang diperbincangkan di kalangan intelektual muslim, terutama perkembangan wacana-wacana baru tentang Islam dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam bentuk dari sains Islam dan ide-ide sains Islam. Abstract Modern western science, which is the main component of supporting the growth of modernity for human life today, has lost its transcendental reference. The disappearance of references is due to the separation between science and religion. One of the Islamic figures who has long built the spirit of the Islamic spirit and the intellectual world and returned Islam to the arena of world civilization is Syed Hossein Nasr, one of the leading intellectuals in the discourse of science and religious relations, especially in the Islamic world. Nasr's thoughts about science itself and the development of grand narratives are currently being discussed among Muslim intellectuals, especially the development of new discourses on Islam and science in Islamic science and Islamic science ideas.

Abstract

Education in Islam is not only about acquiring knowledge, but also forming good character and developing noble morals. Demanding knowledge is considered a practice in worship that will be rewarded by Allah Swt. In the Quran, Allah Swt repeatedly emphasizes the importance of seeking knowledge and gaining a deep understanding of religion. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data were obtained from various literature sources such as books, journals, articles, and other documents relevant to the research topic. The results and discussion show that character education has a significant impact on the formation of individuals, helping them develop positive self-attitudes and qualities. The conclusion of this research is that studying in an Islamic perspective is a form of worship that needs to be done intensely and with dedication. By maintaining ethics and developing good morals, the knowledge gained will be useful and bring blessings in shaping individual character.

Abstract

Pragmatisme adalah penyakit yang sedang menyerang umat islam saat ini,  ilmu yang sudah tersusun secara rapih serta secara menyeluruh oleh para ilmuan termasuk ilmuan falak seakan hilang dan tidak mampu diwariskan. Ilmu falak seringkali merupakan pengetahuan yang kompleks dan memerlukan pemahaman matematis serta astronomi yang mendalam. Keterbatasan dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran ilmu falak dapat menyebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentangnya.Peran ilmu falak sangat diperlukan guna membantu mengamati visibilitas hilal, yakni penampakan bulan tsabit yang nampak pertama kali setelah terjadinya Ijtima, sehingga rukyat hilal dapat dilakukan dengan perhitungan dan perencanaan yang tepat dan akurat. Maka sudah waktunya memperdalam dan mengembangkan ilmu falak dalam alurnya, pengembangan ilmu falak ini tidak menjadikan pemahaman terhadap ilmu yang didapat semakin baik, namun mengarahkan umat islam kepada pola pemikiran yang sesuai dengan garisnya. Sehingga artikel ini dibuat menjadi penguat integrasi ilmu dengan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi literatur. Hasil yang diperoleh dari observasi yang telah dilakukan ilmu falak memberikan peluang kemudahan bagi kehidupan dunia dalam memastikan ke arah mana kiblat suatu tempat dipermukaan bumi, memastikan waktu sholat telah tiba, penentuan awal waktu hijriah, peristiwa dilangit, serta perhitungan kalender Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to delve into the depth and relevance of the thought of Sheikh Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas in facing the challenges of the dominant modern worldview. Through comprehensive analysis, this article aims to highlight how his thinking influences the conceptualization of the Islamic worldview, both by offering new frameworks and strengthening traditional concepts. The research method used is literature study with a qualitative approach, gathering and analyzing various relevant literature sources, including the direct works of Sheikh Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas and writings discussing his thoughts. The research findings indicate that Al-Attas's thinking highlights the challenges faced by the Muslim community in confronting the Western secular worldview embedded in modern science. Al-Attas emphasizes the importance of referring to the heritage of Islamic scholars' thinking in kalam, philosophy, and Sufism in Islamic history, as well as reformulating it according to the current context. The concept of Islamization of knowledge and Islamic education oriented towards shaping complete individuals becomes a crucial foundation in building resilient and characterful generations. However, the challenge of integrating modern science and Islamic values, as well as the risk of losing the integrity of traditional values, needs to be wisely addressed in efforts to acculturate Al-Attas's thought into the discourse of the global worldview.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the fields of study that has a crucial role in improving the quality of education. Islamic society attaches importance to the understanding of mathematics because of efforts to create a modern society that is by the development of sophisticated times. This study aims to determine the role of mathematics in improving the quality of education based on Islamic civilization. This study used descriptive qualitative research with a literature research approach. Literature research is a form of study conducted to collect information and data by utilizing various types of material available in libraries. The research material used in this study was obtained from relevant journal documents. Through the literature study method, researchers collect references to previous articles then sort, select and combine them so that answers to research questions and conclusions are obtained The result of this study is that students can integrate education, especially the role of mathematics with Islamic values. The gap in this study is the role of mathematics in education. The novelty in this study is how mathematics in modern Islamic civilization

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the business sectors that are resilient in facing challenges and various situations. One of them is when facing the Covid-19 pandemic, small and medium scale businesses have been able to survive and many have developed through marketing through online media. Unfortunately, small and medium enterprises are often not supported by business and marketing structures that can keep up with the times due to capital and human resource constraints. Small and Medium Enterprises in RW 04 Pulo Geulis, Babakan Pasar, Bogor are facing the problem of not having good and attractive product photos that can be used as a means of supporting sales through online media. This training is aimed at providing good and attractive product photography skills for UMKM Pulo Geulis, Babakan Pasar, Bogor so that they can make maximum sales in online media which will increase economic income. The training was attended by 25 people from 5 RTs and received good responses from the participants who stated that this training was very useful and helpful.

Abstract

The scholars of knowledge are considered as those who fight for the prophets, thus making them the most honored people. Therefore, they have the obligation to pass on their knowledge and teach humanity to guide them on the path of Allah. Professional ethics are the behaviors of someone who strives to produce quality work in their career. A scientist is said to be professional if they can make good judgments about what is beneficial and what is harmful. Scientists are responsible for their knowledge, regardless of whether it benefits or harms society. This article examines the professional ethics and responsibilities of a scientist in relation to prophetic qualities. The article uses the literature review research method by gathering quotations from books and journals. The research results in defining a scientist based on various Islamic perspectives, defining professional ethics of a scientist, prophetic qualities as the foundation of a scientist's professional ethics, and the social role of scientists in human responsibilities.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between the philosophical works of KH Ahmad Dahlan and modern Islamic education. This research focuses on this question and the problems facing the modern Islamic education system, which is characterized by the need to integrate traditional Islamic teachings with contemporary educational demands. This research also examines how Dahlan's thinking can help bridge these problems. This paper interprets Dahlan's educational philosophy through analysis of historical texts and modern educational theory. This is done using a qualitative methodological approach. These results indicate that Dahlan's emphasis on critical thinking, rationality, and community involvement in education is in accordance with current educational needs. This study concludes that Dahlan's approach offers an important perspective on curriculum development and pedagogical strategies that are rooted in Islamic traditions and adapt to the needs of modern society. In a broader context, this research emphasizes the possibility of change in Islamic education that considers the spiritual and practical aspects of modern education.
