<![CDATA[AbstrakPersediaan adalah material yang sengaja disimpan dalam gudang sebagai cadangan untuk kelancaranproses produksi. Kekurangan stock material pada saat produksi berlangsung dapat mengakibatkanterhentinya proses produksi. Disisi lain, kelebihan stock material di gudang menyebabkan penumpukanmaterial yang akan menimbulkan biaya penyimpanan yang besar pula. Terkait dengan persediaanmaterial, PT PLN (Persero) UIK Tanjung Jati B sebagai perusahaan yang melakukan proses produksilistrik secara kontinu memerlukan pengendalian persediaan material (Spare part) rutin yang baik.Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengusulkan kebijakan pengendalian persediaan agar tidak terjadioverstock dan usulan penerapan safety stok serta ROP yang tepat bagi perusahaan. Metode yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) untuk menghitungjumlah pemesanan material yang optimal, kemudian dilakukan perhitungan safety stock dan ROP sertaperbandingan nilai ITO untuk membuktikan metode mana yang terbaik. Dari hasil perhitungan, nilaiITO dengan metode EOQ adalah 14,1. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan kenaikan apabila dibandingkandengan kebijakan perusahaan yang bernilai 7,8. Nilai Inventory Turn Over (ITO) menjadi salah satuindikator yang menunjukkan bahwa dengan metode EOQ, pengendalian persediaan material menjadilebih optimal dengan total inventory cost yang lebih rendah yaitu sebesar RP 92.352.438,17.Kata Kunci: economic order quantity, inventory turn over, persediaan, safety stock Abstract[Optimization of Routine Material Supply Control as An Effort To Prevent Overstock at PT PLN(Persero) UIK Tanjung Jati B] Inventory is material that is deliberately stored in a warehouse as areserve for the smooth running of the production process. Lack of material stock during production canresult in the cessation of the production process. On the other hand, the excess stock of material in thewarehouse causes the buildup of material which will incur large storage costs as well. Regardingmaterial supply, PT PLN (Persero) UIK Tanjung Jati B, as a company that carries out continuouselectricity production processes, requires good routine material (spare part) inventory control. The purpose of this study is to propose an inventory control policy to avoid overstock and to propose the application of appropriate safety stock and ROP for the company. The method used in this study is theEconomic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to calculate the optimal number of material orders, thencalculate safety stock and ROP and compare ITO values to prove which method is the best. From thecalculation results, the ITO value with the EOQ method is 14.1. This value shows an increase whencompared to company policy which is worth 7.8.
