<![CDATA[Abstrak UD Garam Cemerlang merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi garam briket konsumsi.Untuk menghasilkan bentuk dan kepadatan yang konsisten, mesin press garam seringdilakukan pemeliharaan pada waktu kerja, sehingga mengakibatkan terhambatnya prosesproduksi. Mesin yang sudah tua menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab kerusakan tersebut.Penelitian ini berujuan mendeteksi critical component pada mesin dengan caramenganalisis sistem perawatan serta memberikan kebijakan pemeliharaannya. Metodeanalisis sistem perawatan yang digunakan adalah Reability Centered Maintenance (RCM).Hasil dari analisis sistem perawatan menunjukkan bahwa komponen-komponen kritis padamesin press garam meliputi Belt, Ejector, Spring, dan Crank shaft. Implementasi tindakanproaktif seperti melakukan inspeksi di awal dan akhir jam kerja untuk memastikan bahwakomponen-komponen mesin, terutama yang kritis, berada dalam kondisi baik. To producea consistent shape and density, the salt press machine is often maintained during work time,resulting in obstruction of the production process. The old machine is one of the factorscausing the damage. This research aims to detect critical components on the machine byanalysing the maintenance system and providing maintenance policies. The maintenancesystem analysis method used is Reability Centered Maintenance (RCM). The results of themaintenance system analysis show that the critical components on the salt press machineinclude the Belt, Ejector, Spring, and Crank shaft. Implementation of proactive measuressuch as conducting inspections at the beginning and end of working hours to ensure thatmachine components, especially critical ones, are in good condition.
