Abstract

This study aims to learn how SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi's school principal uses their leadership style to make decisions about disciplinary violations. This exploration is subjective examination, as a contextual investigation. In this exploration, the school head, teachers and understudies were the asset people. In this examination, information was gathered through interview strategies, perception and documentation. The strategy utilized is source triangulation. The discoveries from the examination express that 1) The school head's dynamic cycle depends on recognizing issues in regards to infringement of educator and understudy discipline, where the outcomes show that the chief carries out a technique by gathering the infringement into gentle, moderate to serious classes and afterward deciding suitable authorizations. will be given. Then the following methodology, 2) In the dynamic cycle in view of the reason for the event, where the school chief glances at what made the infringement happen. Lastly 3) The dynamic interaction depends on the effect on understudies and educators, where the procedure carried out by the school chief is to lay out correspondence and socialization with the goal that instructors and understudies are more focused

Abstract

Hakikat pendidikan merupakan sarana dimana seseorang mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dimanapun dan kapanpun berada, tinggal melihat lagi upaya seseorang dalam mendapatkan dan memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan tersebut. Apabila berfokus pada pendidikan formal, maka hal ini dapat kita temui pada lembaga sekolah. Sekolah merupakan suatu organisasi yang memiliki sebuah sistem di dalamnya yang dikelola melalui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan diikuti oleh warga sekolah yang turut berpartisipasi dan berkontribusi dalam mensukseskan program-program sekolah seefektif mungkin dalam mencapai mutu pendidikan yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui propses implementasi yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekolah. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam hal ini ialah penelitian studi kepustakaan, yakni dengan mencari beberapa sumber kepustakaan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian, misalnya seperti melalui buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal, dan sumber kepustakaan lainnya. Setelah itu akan dilakukan analisis dan penyaringan hingga mendapatkan hasil yang konkret. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan berdasarkan analisis dari beberapa sumber , yakni perencanaan strategis merupakan sebuah rancangan yang telah persiapkan seoptimal mungkin melalui tim yang telah dibentuk oleh sekolah dalam menyusunnya berupa program-program dan hal-hal yang berkaitan di dalamnya. Hal ini juga tidak terlepas dari peran kepala sekolah dalam melakukan manajemen dan mempengaruhi para bawahannya agar turut berkontribusi dalam mengimplementasikan perencanaan strategi agar menghasilkan mutu pendidikan sekolah yang berkualitas

Abstract

Instructional leadership and work commitment are things that school principals must have. Teachers have an important role in education. Teacher performance also needs to be improved. Principals play an important role in shaping schools, especially in encouraging higher levels of institutional independence. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the influence of the madrasa head's instructional leadership and work commitment on the performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Agam Regency. The research used by the author is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis) method. The data used in this research is secondary data originating from national scientific articles in the period 2020 to 2024. The database used is Google Scholar. The keywords used are work commitment, leadership, teacher performance. The results of this research are: The results of this research show 15 articles that show a positive relationship between instructional leadership and work commitment to performance. The conclusion is that instructional leadership and work commitment influence performance, where the better the application of leadership and commitment to the organization, the more performance will improve. This relationship indicates that factors such as good leadership and high work commitment play a crucial role in maximizing individual and team performance in the organization.
