Abstract

A church does not exist in an empty space, but it exists in the midst of a multi-problematic world and environment. In general, the church is known by Christians who are centered on the figure of Jesus Christ. However, the problem of the church is that it does not experience growth in the church and worship. The purpose of writing this article is to provide strategies for planting and growing the Church with the principle of sowing cleverly and reaping sincerely. The writing of this article utilizes the literature method, which uses books, journal articles and Bible texts as references in solving the concept of church planting and growth. The result of the research of this article states that the church will experience growth, if the leaders and congregation can work together to improve the spiritual experience.

Abstract

The Psalm of Curse is a psalm of revenge. But this Psalm raises ethical problems for humans because it contradicts God's Love. The purpose of this article is for people to understand the Curse Psalms properly. In this case, the method used is the exposition method. To explain that the psalm of curses does not contradict the law of love, the author concludes that psalm 83, can provide the first understanding, to find the enemy of God's Name. Second, knowing the enemy knows Allah. Thus, the cursed Psalms can be used to support humans with the aim of implementing prayer of warning and rebuke. Thus man knows God and realizes God. Mazmur Kutukan adalah mazmur balas dendam. Namun Mazmur ini menimbulkan masalah etika bagi manusia karena bertentangan dengan Kasih Tuhan. Tujuan artikel ini adalah agar orang-orang memahami Mazmur Kutukan dengan benar. Dalam hal ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksposisi. Untuk menjelaskan bahwa mazmur kutukan tidak bertentangan dengan hukum cinta, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa mazmur 83, dapat memberikan pemahaman pertama, untuk menemukan musuh Nama Tuhan. Kedua, mengetahui musuh mengenal Allah. Dengan demikian, Mazmur terkutuk dapat digunakan untuk mendukung manusia dengan tujuan melaksanakan doa peringatan dan teguran. Dengan demikian manusia mengenal Tuhan dan menyadari Tuhan.

Abstract

Salvation is a gift that comes from the redemption of Jesus Christ. However, mankind does many things against the will of God. For humans, salvation is determined by good deeds. However, Hilarion Alfeyev in the book Othodox Christianity says that salvation is a gift free from sin. The purpose of this article is to contribute to the human need to respond not only by doing good, but also by believing, repenting from bad actions to good actions. In making the article using the literature method. Where the author uses books, journal articles as references to solve the problems in the article discussed. The results of this study are about salvation according to Hilarion Alfeyev, namely, salvation is theosis, theosis occurs thanks to human love for God and the goal of man after salvation is to be one with Christ. As a result of the salvation response, humans will experience glorification.

Abstract

Humans in their daily lives spend one-third of their time working. The purpose of working is to fulfil the needs of life. The method used in making this article is the method of text analysis and literature review. Work is a basic human need like food, beauty, rest, friendship, prayer, and sexuality that is not only medicine but food for the human soul. Without meaningful work, humans feel significant loss and inner emptiness. People who stop working for physical or other reasons quickly discover how much they need work to thrive emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Thus, the author offers that to understand the meaning of work according to 2 Thessalonians 3:6-12, humans need to fortify themselves from laziness
