Abstract

Discrimination and labeling are actions that are negative toward individuals. This action is in the form of an insult that has an impact on a person's mentality, especially for correctional inmates. This socialization was carried out at the Jambi Class IIB Women's Penitentiary. This activity was carried out due to the assumption that there was a negative view of the members of the women's correctional facility in Jambi Women's Prison. This socialization was carried out by presenting, explaining, and opening a question-and-answer session regarding discrimination and labeling of prisoners. This activity can increase the understanding of prisoners regarding acts of discrimination and labeling and how to overcome them. It is hoped that the inmates of the correctional facility can be avoided and know how to deal with it acts of discrimination and labeling of inmates in the correctional facility.

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 virus has made several countries in the world implement a change in behavior or habits to continue carrying out activities as usual but by always implementing health protocols in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic or better known as New Normal. In addi-tion, the emergence of the Covid-19 virus has made all institutions or agencies experience enormous changes, especially in Indonesia. An example is the Correctional Institution, which must implement health protocols for the welfare of every individual in the Correctional Institution, both employees and prisoners. With the implementation of the health protocol in Correctional Institutions, this makes the implementers of self-reliance development in Correctional Institutions obliged to prioritize security and comfort for prisoners when conducting coaching. The inde-pendence development program at the Jambi Correctional Institution aims to make every inmate an expert in a field, and when the sentence has expired, prisoners are able to implement it in an environment outside the Correctional Institution. This study uses a qualitative method, and the purpose of this study is to measure the fulfillment of the rights of prisoners in the independence development program in the new normal era, also know the strategies applied in the midst of correctional problems in the fulfillment of human rights. So the conclusion is that the Peniten-tiary makes a policy, and every individual in the Correctional Institution must comply with the health protocol that has been established.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis faktor apa saja yang memotivasi anak melakukan penyalahgunaan narkotika ditinjau dari faktor determinan serta bagaimana pelaksanaan program pembinaan anak di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Kelas II Muara Bulian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ialah terdapat 3 faktor. Pertama ialah faktor predisposisi yang mencakup minimnya pengetahuan tentang narkotika. Kedua ialah faktor pemungkin yang mencakup tentang akses dalam mendapatkan narkotika. Terakhir ialah faktor penguat yang berasal dari orang-orang memotivasi untuk melakukan penyalahgunaan narkotika. Disimpulkan juga program pembinaan yang dilaksanakan dalam rangka memenuhi hak anak binaan sesuai dengan faktor determinan ialah sudah cukup baik, namun masih memiliki beberapa kendala karena beberapa hal diantaranya ialah sarana dan prasana serta sumber daya atau pengajar khusus yang masih terbatas.
