Abstract

Lobbying and negotiation are one way to reach an agreement that benefits both parties in relationships with customers or business partners. Good negotiating skills can lead to mutual benefits and maintain long-term business relationships. Lobby and negotiation are also necessary in addressing conflict that may arise in a business context. The research method used in this program is descriptive analysis. The results of this community service program implementation can be seen from two indicators, namely the achievement of the outcomes target and the improvement of the participants' skills measured through material exposure and also simulation that output in the form of application of activity. Basic training in lobbying and negotiation techniques played an important role in improving participants' knowledge and ability to approach interpersonal communication and public speaking capabilities.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pembatik muda adalah pengrajin batik berusia 16-30 tahun. Studi ini bertujuan mengetahui pengalaman, motif, dan makna yang membentuk konsep diri pembatik muda penyandang disabilitas fisik. Studi menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi Alfred Schutz, melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur, dengan purposive sampling serta triangulasi sumber. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pembatik muda di PPSGHD mampu berinteraksi, mengembangkan keterampilan membatik, memperoleh apresiasi, mengurangi stigma, membantu perekonomian keluarga, menumbuhkan tanggung jawab, dan membentuk pola pikir optimis. Motif sebab meliputi hobi menggambar sejak kecil, keinginan bekerja mandiri, terpilih sebagai pembatik, semangat berjuang, dan tidak ingin membebani orang tua. Motif tujuan mencakup keinginan memotivasi generasi muda melestarikan batik, menjual karya berdasarkan kualitas, membangun usaha batik sendiri, dan membangun citra setara dengan orang lain. Membatik dimaknai sebagai sumber motivasi, kontribusi pelestarian budaya, cara menghindari rasa iba, sekaligus media ekspresi diri. Dari pengalaman, motif, dan makna tersebut, terbentuk konsep diri yang positif pada pembatik muda penyandang disabilitas fisik, yang tercermin dalam citra diri, harga diri, dan identitas diri.Abstract. Young batik makers are batik artisans aged 16-30. This study aims to explore the experiences, motives, and meanings related to the self-concept of young batik makers with physical disabilities. The research employed a qualitative method using Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach through interviews, observations, and literature review, with purposive sampling and source triangulation. The results reveal that young batik makers at PPSGHD are able to interact with others, develop batik-making skills, gain appreciation, reduce stigma, support their family’s economy, foster responsibility, and build an optimistic mindset. The because of motive include childhood hobbies in drawing, the desire to work and be independently, being selected as batik worker, perseverance, and the wish not to burden their parents. The in order to motives involve motivating younger generations to preserve batik, selling batik based on quality, establishing independent batik business, and being recognized as equal to others. Batik making is interpreted as a source of motivation, a contribution to cultural preservation, a medium to avoid pity, and a place for self-expression. From these experiences, motives, and meanings, a positive self-concept is formed among young batik makers with physical disabilities, reflected in their self-image, self-esteem, and self-identity.
